Tri-C Club Supply ~ Duffy’s ABOUT US Duffy and Mary Anne Linsell began Tri-C Club Supply as newlyweds in 1978.

They personally delivered locker room amenities, housekeeping products, and shoeshine supplies to the local Detroitarea country clubs from Oaklands Hills to the Detroit Athletic Club to the Country Club of Detroit. Their son, Dan, born in 1979, went along on the deliveries much of his life. After college, Dan joined the Tri-C Team full-time and developed new markets to complement the country club industry.

The main porte cochere was too small. The existing linear bar was against a wall and offered no crosstalk. They also had an empty room in the lower level of the clubhouse they wanted to convert into a 19th Hole.

The first rendering illustrates the new main porte cochere design and how it marries with the existing clubhouse. The second rendering illustrates how we developed a new bar design that encourages membership engagement. The third rendering proposes an informal 19th Hole for members to gravitate after a round of golf. We were able to develop a design that started with the exterior of the club and flowed from the Main Lobby, Bar Lounge, 19Th Hole, to the Formal Dining Room.

Club Profile Established in 1923, Edina Country Club (ECC) is a private country club located in Edina, MN. Challenge In the past, an election committee made up of member volunteers ran and oversaw ECC’s election process. As this group of members got older, they passed the reigns over to club staff.

The challenge with the election was similar to what many private clubs deal with; the amount of time and energy it takes to run a paper-based election process. Additionally, we were searching for a more efficient way for young and engaged members to connect with ECC through voting.
