For clients who would like the works framed, we recommend framing in a clear plexiglass box type frame. The consistent theme of her work is "Ryukyu Painting Flower and Bird Paradise”. She draws inspiration from the natural environment of Okinawa and the Kacho-ga of Ryukyu paintings. She has a strong interest in the subject of Kacho- ga (flowers-and-birds painting), which led her to create paintings that incorporated both paradise and flowers-and- birds painting and the insects that support the flowers and birds. Marina has exhibited throughout Japan and holds a Ph.D. in Japanese painting from Okinawa Prefectural University of Art where she is a lecturer.
