WOMEN ARTISTS ON-LINE EXHIBITION SPRING 2022

www.tobinohashi.com info@tobinohashi.com Okinawa, Japan

May 25, 2021 We are proud to present the catalog for our Women Artists Exhibition On-Line. In this exhibition we celebrate and highlight the contribution and importance of women artists. In our gallery, we have always shown women artists right from the start. In this exhibition we focus on women artists we represent as well as artists we have been following throughout the world. Although women artists have been involved in the making of art throughout history, their work, when compared to that of their male counterparts, has been often obfuscated, overlooked and undervalued. The widespread recognition of the work of the female artists has finally accelerated in the past few years. As you are no doubt aware, museums are making up for past omissions and are adding the works of artists who were previously overlooked. We have included some artists in this exhibition who are household names such as Alice Neel and Etel Adnan as well as very young artists-many from Africa or African Americans- whom we hope you will consider adding to your collection. All works can be purchased on-line and you can choose world wide shipping when you check out. If you would like more information, please let us know at info@tobinohashi.com. We wish you all the best for a joyous Spring surrounded by loved ones and of course art.
