IN A COMPETITIVE WORKFORCE, IT PAYS TO HAVE AN EDGE An investment in your qualifications is an investment in your future. Ongoing education is a necessity in today’s constantly changing workplace, whether it’s to redirect your focus, develop new skills, specialise or advance your career. TAKE THE NEXT STEP Career progression is the most common reason for engaging in postgraduate study. It shows employers that you are committed and dedicated to moving onwards and upwards in your career. It may also qualify you for a higher level management position, or to specialise in a particular area.

CHANGE DIRECTION Postgraduate study presents an opportunity to reassess your career and redirect it. A new qualification can equip you with the skills, knowledge and networks to pursue a different direction in your career, and accelerate your progression.

INVEST IN YOURSELF How much and how quickly you progress in your area is up to you, and usually people who upskill are self-motivated. Regardless, if the reason you are considering postgraduate study is career driven or purely personal, it often has indirect benefits that naturally flow into your job, such as better time management and enhanced presentation and writing skills.

LEARN FROM THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS At Bond you will learn from high-profile industry identities and internationally-recognised researchers from around the world. From Ivy League-educated scholars to award-winning journalists, you will be able to benefit from their extensive links to your chosen industry.

BUILDING A BETTER BUSINESS WITH BOTS What started in the guest bedroom of Neeti Mehta Shukla’s house has now become a $US6.8 billion robotic process automation (RPA) company. Ms Shukla graduated from an MBA from Bond in 1997 and launched her company, Automation Anywhere, with her husband in 2003. Within minutes they already had their first customer. Now, Automation Anywhere has its global headquarters in San Jose, California and a client list including ANZ Bank, University of Melbourne, Dell, Sprint and more. It has also deployed over 2.8 million bots to support some of the world’s largest enterprises. The company allows users to create custom software bots with Automation Anywhere technology that automates manual, repetitive business and IT processes. The bots, which utilise artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, can be configured to perform tasks assigned and controlled by the user. The headquarters are a long way from Bond University, but Ms Shukla keeps the university close to her heart. She’s even a member of the Bond Business School Advisory Board. “The education, professors and courses were so impactful and also really diverse. I had the time of my life. All the friends I made there have been for life, and we still keep in touch and meet when we can,” says Ms Shukla.

Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying

This cutting-edge program has been designed to help built environment professionals comply with the stringent practice requirements upheld by both government and private sector clients. These requirements include the use of building information modelling (BIM), lean construction practice (Lean) and integrated project delivery (IPD). The Master of Building Information Modelling and Integrated Project Delivery program is delivered intensively, and equips students with the knowledge required to be effective BIM / Lean / IPD managers in their work environments. While the course does cover various BIM-related technologies, it does not prepare students to be specialist technicians in more niche areas of these technologies. The program includes a capstone subject in which students work in teams on a realistic BIM / Lean / IPD project
