A postgraduate qualification, tailored to you. Every person’s background, experience, and personal and professional goals are different, so it’s important that your postgraduate study path is created especially for you. Bond’s postgraduate programs are designed with flexibility at their core, ensuring you can curate your studies to meet your career goals and to fit with life’s many other commitments.
Start in January, May or September Bond runs on an accelerated timetable with three semesters per year. Not only does this give you the flexibility to start your program on your terms, but it also enables you to complete a master’s degree in as little as 12 months full time. Even if you choose to study part time, the threesemester schedule still permits you to accelerate your progress without an overwhelming workload.
Part-time study options We understand that there’s more to life than studying, which is why we offer part-time study options. You can complete your program with a reduced subject load each semester, creating space to pursue your academic dreams while chasing your professional or personal goals.
After-hours classes Many of our programs offer after-hours classes, designed to fit around your professional and personal commitments.
Intensive subject delivery Some subjects are also offered via an intensive mode of delivery, which means you can complete an entire subject over a short period of time – for example, a weekend or week-long period.
Career guidance, every step of the way As a postgraduate student at Bond, you will have lifelong access to career development support through the Career Development Centre. Our team of experts are dedicated to ensuring your success, giving you access to a full suite of career services.

Building a better business with bots What started in the guest bedroom of Neeti Mehta Shukla’s house has now become a $US6.8 billion robotic process automation (RPA) company. Ms Shukla graduated with an MBA from Bond in 1997 and launched her company, Automation Anywhere, with her husband in 2003. Within minutes they already had their first customer. Now, Automation Anywhere has its global headquarters in San Jose, California, and a client list including ANZ, University of Melbourne, Dell, Sprint and more. It has also deployed over 2.8 million bots to support some of the world’s largest enterprises. The company allows users to create custom software bots with Automation Anywhere technology that automates manual, repetitive business and IT processes. The bots, which utilise artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, can be configured to perform tasks assigned and controlled by the user. The headquarters are a long way from Bond University, but Ms Shukla keeps the University close to her heart. She’s even a member of the Bond Business School Advisory Board. “The education, professors and courses were so impactful and also really diverse. I had the time of my life. All the friends I made there have been for life, and we still keep in touch and meet when we can,” says Ms Shukla. “It was a good combination of education that stretched my boundaries and allowed me to get the best from the world.”

Choose your postgraduate path
Graduate certificate
Research degree
A graduate certificate can be completed in just one semester full time – or four months at Bond. It is a postgraduate credential usually focused on a specific area of study. It typically includes four subjects.
Higher degree research programs suit students who want to pursue further research in a specific area. Bond offers a range of higher degree research programs including research master’s programs and PhD study.
Graduate diploma
Microcredential
A graduate diploma usually includes eight subjects and can be completed in two semesters – or eight months – full time at Bond.
A microcredential is an executive training or professional development course which can often be completed online from anywhere in the world. They are often self-paced and relate to a specific, professional area of study. Learners who complete a Bond microcredential earn a digital certificate.
Master’s degree A master’s degree is a high-level qualification that can be completed in one to two years full time at Bond. Master’s degree graduates demonstrate a strong understanding in a particular area of study. Many master’s programs at Bond are accredited with professional organisations.
Note: For graduate certificate, graduate diploma and master’s programs, each subject requires, on average, one two-hour lecture and one two-hour tutorial per week. Students should allow approximately six hours per subject per week for at-home preparation, additional reading and assignments – but this will vary from subject to subject.

Professor Steve Stern PhD, MSci, BSc INTERNATIONAL STATISTICS EXPERT. CUSTODIAN OF THE DUCKWORTH-LEWIS-STERN METHOD. PROFESSOR OF DATA SCIENCE. “I don’t teach facts, I teach ideas. I’m not interested in my students regurgitating facts and theories about stats; I want them to understand the real reasons behind data analysis methods and understand how and when analytic techniques should, and more importantly shouldn’t, be used. “Data analysis is the skill of the future. If you know how to understand and analyse data, there is no industry or career in the world you can’t be involved in somehow.”

Tony Yang MASTER OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS ALUMNUS. FOOTBALL FANATIC. SPORTS DIPLOMAT. “My passion for soccer paired with my international relations degree resulted in an opportunity to travel the world refereeing at different football clubs. The contexts I was able to explore, particularly after COVID-19, offered insight into how sports might relate to geopolitics and sociology. “I was then fortunate enough to be introduced to sports diplomacy expert Dr Stuart Murray, who is now my current PhD supervisor. Now, I stay involved on the field as a referee, which in turn feeds into my research in sports diplomacy and my passion to continue exploring all the sporting industry has to offer.”

Jacqueline Yeats DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER OF MINDFUL & CO KIDS. PSYCHOLOGY ALUMNA. ENTREPRENEUR. “My mantra is ‘if it were easy, everybody would be doing it’. I came up with the idea for Mindful & Co Kids, a children’s educational product-based business, while I was writing my thesis for my postgraduate psychology degree at Bond. My business is still new, but I’m so proud of my team and what we have achieved in such a short amount of time. In 2021 one of our products was featured in Oprah Winfrey’s annual Oprah’s Favourite Things list.”
