Baptised in the Holy Spirit and in fire Brendan Mc Crossan

Matthew 3:11 English Standard Version11"As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; ‘’He will baptize you’’ with the ‘’Holy Spirit’’ and ‘’fire’’ . 12"His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and ‘’He’’ ‘’will gather His wheat into the barn, but ‘’He’’ ‘’will burn up the chaff’’ with ‘’unquenchable fire."

52 One day he sent messengers ahead to reserve rooms for them in a Samaritan village. 53 But they were turned away! The people of the village refused to have anything to do with them because they were headed for Jerusalem. 54 When word came back of what had happened, James and John said to Jesus, “Master, ‘’shall we order fire’’ down from heaven to burn them up?” 55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them,56 and they went on to another village.

Baptised in the Holy Spirit and in fire

We know about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit but what do we literally know about the baptism in fire. We hear people shout ‘’fire’’ during conferences but what do they mean by what are they calling down from heaven, we know that when two of the apostles said to Jesus, ‘’shall we call down fire from heaven and burn them up,’’ and Jesus said, ‘’no!’’ He actually rebuked them.

Jesus rebuked them, why? They were willing to kill people just because they rejected the lord’s messengers; and neither God nor Jesus were into that; so think about what these Christians are doing by calling down fire on people, the lord doesn’t want people killed; though sometimes he will use fire to destroy those who come against his prophets or ministers in danger, and will send down fire from heaven to consume the enemies of his people.

‘’

But first let’s look at what these Christians are calling for the Spirit to rain down on people in these conferences, they shout ‘’fire lord send your fire.’’ Do they know they what fire are calling down; for I have stood in these conferences and had them call down fire on me, as well as everyone gathered there, and I rebuked it away from me, just in case someone is successful in calling fire down on people, for I know fire burns?

I believe that the ‘’fire of the Holy Spirit’’ which we need to ask for today, is the fire that burns off of us, any old dross, hidden sin, from either husband or wife, or a religious or carnal nature still in us; but mostly we need the fire to burn off of us those negative things that people have inflicted upon us, things like abuse, telling us were worthless or even worse, those things still have their affect on our minds, and bodies, even though we are redeemed; and we are a new creation; but we still carry the sin nature within our minds, and flesh, the minds needs renewing by the word of God, and the body is destroyed because of sin; this is the fire we need to ask for, rather than be put through it later on by the Holy Spirit, as he does his work of cleansing us continually; for the Holy Spirit is the one who is using fire to cleans us.

In the book of 2 Kings -1-10 we see Elijah calling fire down from heaven, but he was being threatened by a king who sent fifty men to arrest him; but Elijah had God on his side as do we, so be careful what you intend to call down from heaven, for you just might see it happen.

Jesus never used fire’’ at any time in his ministry; in fact he stopped James and John, his two apostles from asking, and ‘’rebuked’’ them. The Holy Spirit is part fire; he appeared as fire on the day of Pentecost, just one of his many

2 Kings 1:10-, King James Version And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, if I be a man of God, then let ‘’fire’’ come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

Let this thought fill your head, if we Christians are calling down that fire from heaven; are we also asking God to burn all these people gathered together in his name, for what other fire is there in heaven, fire burns up everything, and is that what these Christians or others need, ~ to be destroyed?

And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

You have purified us with ‘’fire,’’ O Lord, like silver in a crucible

Psalm 12:6-New International Version

This is the ‘fire’ God intended for all of us who are his children to go through, for a crucible is a melting pot that has a tremendous fire heat under it melting the gold and silver to the highest standard of value. Our soul can withstand the highest heat from his fire;

Then Jesus arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him.14 But John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I have need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?" 15 But Jesus said, “Please do it, for I must do all that is right.” So then John baptized him.16 after his baptism, as soon as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened to him and he saw the ‘’Spirit of God’’ coming down in the ‘’form of a dove.’’

Psalm 66:10 Living Bible

Matthew 3:13 New American Standard Bible

I believe the fire of God that Jesus Holy Spirit was to bring, is the fire of change as it purges the effects of sin in us, and purges the old nature from our soul, leaving the soul ready for heaven for the soul {mind} needs to be renewed by the word of God, and the soul will go with us into heaven with our spirit, for without the soul the spirit would enter heaven brainless, and the body rots in the grave because of its sin, according to the word. {That’s my belief}

forms. He appears as a dove in another form when he descended on Jesus after he was baptised by John at the Jordan River.

Scripture tells us the Pharisees and Sadducees were a religious bunch of hypocrites who one day will feel the judgement of God, who claimed a form of religion but did not know God. Do you feel like some churches today have a form of religion and not the power of the Holy Spirit in them? This following scripture explains a lot of things in it about the fire and judgement.

Proverbs 27:21-Living Bible

7 But when he saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to be baptized, he denounced them. “You sons of snakes!” he warned. “Who said that you could escape the coming wrath of God? 8 before being baptized, prove that you have turned from sin by doing worthy deeds.9Don’t try to get by as you are, thinking, ‘We are safe for we are Jews descendants of Abraham.’ That proves nothing. God can change these stones here into Jews! 10 “And even now the axe of ‘’God’s judgment’’ is poised to chop down every ‘’unproductive tree,’’ they will be ‘’chopped and burned;’’

11 “With water I baptize those who repent of their sins; but someone else is coming, far greater than I am, so great that I am not worthy to carry his shoes! ‘’He’’ ‘shall’ ‘baptize you with the ‘Holy Spirit’ ~and~ with ‘’fire.’’12 ‘’ He’’ ‘’will’’ ~separate ~ the ~chaff from the grain,~ burning the chaff with never ending fire and storing away the grain.”

John 15:6-New International Version

If you ‘’do not’’ ‘remain in me,’ you are like a ‘’branch’’ that is thrown away and withers; such ‘’branches’’ are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

Jesus spoke of us being like the branches off a tree and saying ‘’dead branches’’ were picked up and ‘burned in the fire. ’ Those who done nothing for the kingdom of God and didn’t remain in him, have gained nothing for the kingdom of God; he says they are ‘’like a branch,’’ he didn’t say they ‘’are a branch’’ that will be burned up. Don’t misunderstand the meaning of the scripture, all God’s children will enter heaven and have a reward waiting for them, some have very little, if anything; and others have a mountain of things waiting on them, but they are not burned up like a useless branch they lose their reward.

Matthew 3 7 Living Bible (TLB)

The purity of silver and gold can be tested in a crucible, but a ‘’man is tested by his reaction to men’s praise. ’’

Every ‘’unproductive tree,’’ will be ‘’chopped up and burned.’’ If we’re not being productive for the kingdom of heaven we are like those branches that are withered up and unproductive.

****

Here is a question I would ask you to ask yourself, are you being productive for God, are you doing anything for the kingdom of God? If not, shall your works remain safe in the fire of God’s testing at the end of the world|?

‘’

That is an example of the ‘’fire’’ being used to separate the thistle, the bad stuff from the wheat, the good stuff; the bad and good in us.

Matthew 13Living Bible (TLB)

24 Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer sowing good seed in his field; 25 but one night as he slept, his enemy came and sowed thistles among the wheat.26 when the crop began to grow, the thistles grew too.

Everyone’s work, ‘not salvation,’ shall be put through the fire to see if what you did in this life as a Christian is worth being rewarded for,

1 Corinthians 3Living Bible (TLB)

He’’ ‘’will’’ ~separate ~ the ~chaff from the grain, meaning both are in you; so my belief in what this scripture is saying is, that, ‘He’ will separate from your soul the chaff, the rubbish that is joined to your soul and body also for it is in the flesh that we sin; and in the mind is the beginning of the sin were about to commit; so I believe that it is both of these areas that the garbage needs to be burned off of us. It sometimes seems to Christians as if the word of God is talking about others as well as us here in this word; ‘’but it is not,’’ have a good read again at those words, **‘’he will separate the chaff from the grain;’’** the word of God also says he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, a different thing altogether.

13 There is going to come a time of testing at Christ’s Judgment Day to see what kind of material each builder has used. Everyone’s ~work~ will be put through the ‘fire’ so that all can see whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished.

“The farmer’s men came and told him, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that choice seed is full of thistles!’ 28 “‘An enemy has done it,’ he exclaimed. “‘Shall we pull out the thistles?’ they asked.

The stuff left in you, in your soul nature; the old nature, is still affecting us, for Paul says, ‘’why do I do the things that I don’t want to and the things I should do I don’t,’’ what’s the problem with me?

18 I know I am rotten through and through so far as my old sinful nature is concerned. No matter which way I turn I can’t make myself do right. I want to, but I can’t. 19 When I want to do good, I don’t; and when I try not to do wrong, I do it anyway.20 Now if I am doing what I don’t want to, it is plain where the trouble is: sin still has me in its evil grasp.

Romans 7Living Bible (TLB)

“‘No,’ he replied. ‘You’ll hurt the wheat if you do. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and I will tell the reapers to sort out the thistles and ‘’burn’’ them, and put the wheat in the barn.’”

21 It seems to be a fact of life that ‘when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.’22’’ I love to do God’s will so far as my new nature is concerned;’’ 23 25 ‘’ but there is something else’’ ‘’deep within me, in my lower nature,’’ that is at ‘’war’’ with my ‘’mind’’ and wins the fight and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. ‘’In my mind’’ I ‘’want to be God’s willing servant,’’ but instead ‘’I find myself still enslaved to sin.’’ So you see how it is: ‘’my ‘’new life’’ tells me to do right,’’ but the ‘’old nature’’ that is ‘’still inside me loves to sin.’’ Oh, what a terrible predicament I’m in! Who will free me from my slavery to this deadly lower nature? Thank God! It has been done by Jesus Christ our Lord. He has set me free.

27

29

Matthew 25:32-Living Bible

Thank God Jesus set me free from sin and its slavery, but it affects can still have its influence over me, and the effects of sin can cause different things to happen to us, and those effects need to be burned off of us by the fire of the Holy Spirit, and this is where the fire is intended for, to burn off from us the circle of religious belief and not faith belief, or guilt’s, and unreal guilt that others placed upon us. Fire cleanses and burns also so be careful when your shouting fire at someone.

And all the nations shall be gathered before me. And I will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats,

I have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I also received the baptism with fire. Many years ago after receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit I asked the Holy Spirit to baptise me in fire as I sensed I needed it, not knowing what it was or why I needed it, but I read and re read again and again about the ‘’baptism in the Holy Spirit’’ ‘’and with fire’’ stood out to me; and Rose said she wanted to receive the same as me, and over the next few weeks we experienced a cleansing out of every wrongful thing we had ever done on each other and had experienced in our lives. I was the worse, for I had betrayed Rose a few times, and had sex with two other women of which she had known about and forgave me. But this was a cleansing out of things that had stuck to us, things that hurt and caused unworthiness in us, and unhappiness.

Luke 8Living Bible (TLB)

17 This illustrates the fact that ‘’someday everything in men’s hearts shall be brought to light’’ and made plain to all.18 So be careful how you listen; for whoever has, to him shall be given more; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.”

It was a cleansing off of us the effects that my sins left on Rose, and some things Rose also done wrong, {nothing whatsoever compared to mine, she was a good and faithful wife,} but life throws things at us all and this is what the Holy Spirit was burning off of us together, for we sat down one day and as we talked right into the night. We shared secrete things we had hidden in our hearts, not realising they were still there, and afterwards we knew each other inside and out, there was no hidden things, or sinful things left in me, for Rose knew my every hidden thoughts, and the amazing thing is there was no feelings of ‘’oh my God what kind of man were you,’’ she just continued loving me as if I told her nothing bad about myself, and as I said Rose had very little to bring into the light for she was a good Christian woman all her growing up life, and was always close to God; but even though close to God she still had some things she felt she needed to share. And we have never ever, even during fights, thrown anything that was brought out into the open up at each other thirty nine years later; though we could remember things, they just seemed so unimportant now that they were burned off of us, and in the light of the lord.

The real baptism of fire

Two

1 Corinthians 3Living Bible (TLB) 10 God, in his kindness, has taught me how to be an expert builder. I have laid the foundation and Apollo’s has built on it. But he who builds on the foundation must be very careful.11 and no one can ever lay any other real foundation than that one that we already have—Jesus Christ.12 But there are various kinds of materials that can be used to build on that foundation. Some use gold and silver and jewels; and some build with sticks and hay or even straw!13 There is going to come a ‘’time of testing’’ at Christ’s Judgment Day to see what kind of material each builder has used.

So when I hear those Christians shout, ‘’ fire lord fire’’ I wonder do they know what it is they are asking. I feel it is a fire of God’s power they are pleading for, but they will not have an answer to that shout, for the fire of the lord burns with such intensity that people would be burned alive if answered.

Everyone’s ‘’work’’ will be put through the ‘’fire’’ so that ‘’all’’ ‘can see’’ whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished.14 Then every workman who has built on the foundation with the right materials, and whose work still stands, ‘’will get his pay.’’ 15 but if the house he has built burns up, he will have a great loss. He himself will be saved, but like a man escaping through a wall of flames.

When a man and woman get married they become one flesh in the sight of God and if a ‘’Christian’’ ‘’man and woman are married’’ they are not just one flesh in his sight they are now ‘one spirit’ in his sight, for ‘both are one’ in Christ Jesus; ‘’someday everything in men’s hearts shall be brought to light.’’ Isn’t it better to have our thoughts exposed to each other in the ‘’baptism with fire’’ than to have to wait till Judgement Day for our works to be exposed right in front of the entire world. Cleansing now is better than exposing them then.

The fire of heaven falling down

Three

In the book of 2 Kings -1-10 we see Elijah calling fire down from heaven, for he was being threatened by a king who sent fifty men to arrest him; but Elijah had God on his side as do we, so be careful what you intend to call down from heaven, for you just might see it happen.

1 Kings 18:38 Living Bible

Finally Elijah agreed to go and see this king who was after him, planning to kill him, and when he went to the army officer in charge to present himself to the king, the man was terrified and said to Elijah, ‘If I tell the king you’re here to see him and you don’t turn up then I’m dead,’ but Elijah promised the man he would turn up for this time God had sent him and he went knowing this king could never touch him for God was protecting him, and he trusted God.

2 Kings 1:10-, King James Version

1-Kings 18:38-Living Bible

Then, suddenly, fire flashed down from heaven and burned up the young bull, the wood, the stones, the dust, and even evaporated all the water in the ditch!

Some other examples of fire from heaven; the fire we receive from the Holy Spirit ‘’works within,’’ the fire from heaven comes down as ‘actual fire’ or ‘lightening.’

I said this before earlier in this book, but it is worth repeating; for Christians do not realise the extent that their Father God would go to, to back his children up in what they say, or do in his name, trying to bring him glory.

There was a test here between a man of God and false prophets; the false prophets were telling the king all would go well with him, and Elijah said the opposite, in fact he mocked their god and them, he was a man who knew his God and trusted his God, and God rewarded his trust in him by doing what you will read in the story for yourself.

And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, if I be a man of God, then let ‘’fire’’ come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down ‘’fire’’ from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

Then Elijah called to the people, “Come over here.”

And now you say, ‘Go tell the king that Elijah is here’!

Sir, if I do that, I’m dead!”

15

“You’ll have to shout louder than that,” he scoffed, “to catch the attention of your god! Perhaps he is talking to someone, or is out sitting on the toilet, or maybe he is away on a trip, or is asleep and needs to be wakened!”

28

30

So Ahab summoned all the people and the prophets to Mount Carmel. 21 Then Elijah talked to them. “How long are you going to waver between two opinions?” he asked the people. “If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!”

14

26

But Elijah said, “I swear by the Lord God of the armies of heaven, in whose presence I stand, that I will present myself to Ahab today.” 16 So Obadiah went to tell Ahab that Elijah had come; and Ahab went out to meet him. 17 “So it’s you, is it? the man who brought this disaster upon Israel!” Ahab exclaimed when he saw him. 18 “You’re talking about yourself,” Elijah answered. “For you and your family have refused to obey the Lord and have worshiped Baal instead.19 Now bring all the people of Israel to Mount Carmel, with all 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of Asherah who are supported by Jezebel.”

Then Elijah spoke again. “I am the only prophet of the Lord who is left,” he told them, “but Baal has 450 prophets.23 now bring two young bulls, The prophets of Baal may choose whichever one they wish and cut it into pieces and lay it on the wood of their altar, but without putting any ‘fire’ under the wood; and I will prepare the other young bull and lay it on the wood on the Lord’s altar, with no ‘fire’ under it.24 Then pray to your god, and I will pray to the Lord; and the god who answers by sending ‘fire’ to light the wood is the true God!” And all the people agreed to this test.

20

22

Then Elijah turned to the prophets of Baal. “You first,” he said, “for there are many of you; choose one of the bulls and prepare it and call to your god; but don’t put any ‘fire’ under the wood.”

So they prepared one of the young bulls and placed it on the altar; and they called to Baal all morning, shouting, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no reply of any kind. Then they began to dance around the altar. 27 About noontime, Elijah began mocking them.

And they all crowded around him as he repaired the altar of the Lord that had been torn down. 31 He took twelve stones, one to represent each of the tribes of Israel, 32 and used the stones to rebuild the Lord’s altar. Then he dug a trench about three feet wide around

25

So they shouted louder and, as was their custom, cut themselves with knives and swords until the blood gushed out. 29 They raved all afternoon until the time of the evening sacrifice, but there was no reply, no voice, and no answer.

36

the altar. 33 He piled wood upon the altar and cut the young bull into pieces and laid the pieces on the wood.

Then, suddenly, ‘’fire’’ flashed down from heaven’’ and burned up the young bull, the wood, the stones, the dust, and even evaporated all the water in the ditch!

I know that these Christians believe that in some way God is sending some kind of ‘’fire power’’ to his people and that they are calling that power down on the people gathered in his name. ‘’They ‘’don’t’’ need any fire’’ for they have the fire, the power of the Holy Spirit within them, they just need to step out and begin doing the things the word of God told them to do. ‘’Go out into the entire world and to proclaim the gospel, tell them of the baptism in the Holy Spirit and then lay hands on them in Jesus name and see them healed.’’ Become on fire for the lord instead of looking for that different kind of fire; ‘’fan into flame the fire within you,’’ as Paul says to Timothy, the Holy Spirit, is the gift, the fire.

Our God will send down fire to honour his name and to show forth that the man he sends is genuinely from him, but he will not send down fire to burn the Christian up, his fire heals and delivers us from the things of the enemy. Maybe today we need men like this man Elijah to call down fire from heaven somewhere, to show that the God of Abraham still exists, and is in heaven ruling everything; for we see very little of the power of God or anything of God at all in this world.

And when the people saw it, they fell to their faces upon the ground shouting, “Jehovah is God! Jehovah is God!”

“Fill four barrels with water,” he said, “and pour the water over the carcass and the wood.”

39

38

At the customary time for offering the evening sacrifice, Elijah walked up to the altar and prayed, “O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, prove today that you are the God of Israel and that I am your servant; prove that I have done all this at your command.37 O Lord, answer me! ‘’Answer me so these ‘people will know’ that ‘you’ are ‘God’’ and that you have brought them back to yourself.”

After they had done this he said, 34 “Do it again.” And they did. “Now, do it once more!” And they did; 35 and the water ran off the altar and filled the trench.

All God wants from us is to believe in all Jesus done for us, and then begin stepping out in his name and then the signs and wonders will follow us, the power for all is within us we don’t need this extra power of fire for we have the divine fire called the Holy Spirit living in us.

2-Timothy 1:6-New International Version

People need to see signs and wonders to believe there is a God and he loves them, and God will do those signs and wonders for them without the need for shouting ‘’fire; ’’ we should be shouting –> In the ‘’Name of JESUS’’< this is where all the power of God is gathered, ‘staying focused on ‘’his’’ ‘’divine name,’’ and in the ‘’power and authority’’ in that ‘’holy name.’’

In the old days people called down fire to prove that Yahweh was the true God and God honoured their prayer and sent fire down on armies, and on sacrifices, to show that his prophets were the only true prophets and men of the true God. But this is not applicable in today’s ‘’New Testament’’ times, for the fire has come down and he is called the Holy Spirit, and he comes to dwell in each of us.

Fire came down;

Four

For this reason I remind you to ‘’fan into ‘’flame’’ the gift of God,’’ which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

‘’What do we need fire for,’’ except to cleanse off of a child of God, those things that have been done on them mentally, physically, and spiritually those things that leave an effect on our soul and body, so when praying with them we can use that cleansing fire to burn off those horrible effects on a child of God that is tearing them down mentally, physically and emotionally, things that have been said about them, or done on them filling them with unreal guilt. For the fire is a cleansing tool of the Holy Spirit.

2 Maccabees 2:10 New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised Catholic Edition

Imagine having the have the faith of Moses to pray, and have fire come down, yet we are now ‘’filled with the Holy Spirit, the fire of God himself, and ‘’he is in us’’ and so we should be able to do more than call down fire to burn up sacrifices; we should be walking on water and healing the sick and delivering those oppressed by the enemy, this is much better than calling down fire, for this affects the body of Christ for they are suffering from sickness and disease and pain and such things, and God has given us the power to raise the dead, for it is his power we have, and we are joined together with and in him.

Just as Moses prayed to the Lord, and fire came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifices, so also Solomon prayed, and the fire came down and consumed the whole burnt offerings.

As Solomon finished praying, ‘’fire’’ flashed down from heaven and burned up the sacrifices! And the glory of the Lord filled the Temple, so that the priests couldn’t enter! Glory comes with the lord’s personal fire! Making a sacrifice causes the fire of God to flash down, and the ‘’glory filled the temple,’’ well ‘’we are that temple of the Holy Spirit.’’ Now we have the ultimate sacrifice and that is Jesus and when doing something for Jesus and God we should have the power to call down fire, but it is not fire we need it is belief in the name of Jesus. Scripture says we should daily ‘’offer our bodies as a living sacrifice’’ to God so that the fire of God’s spirit within us can cleanse us from within, and no one sees that fire but God.

2-Chronicles 7:1 2 Living Bible

What need do we have today to call down fire for when we have that fire inside us called the Holy Spirit; I do not diminish what the spirit of God has done or is doing but to keep looking back to the past prevents us from looking forward to the future, and God’s word says, ‘he has given’ us ‘’all of the present and all of the future,’’. What a glorious God we have living in us in unity with Jesus and his Spirit and our spirit as one in Christ Jesus.

1 Chronicles 21:26-Living Bible

We spend too much time dwelling on the ‘Old Testament’ and not enough time on the ‘New Testament’ to see things have changed for the betterment of those who belong to the lord. God is our heavenly Father, and as our Father he is willing to send down fire if we so needed, but we don’t, for ‘’we have the fire within us’’ and he is the fire of the Holy Spirit. We are supposed to be a demonstration of Satan’s defeat, we are supposed to let the world know with power, and signs and wonders following us.

Built an altar to the Lord there, and sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings upon it; and he called out to the Lord, who answered by sending down ‘’fire’’ from heaven to burn up the offering on the altar.

Just think, if we could only allow ourselves to trust God and allow him to do as he wishes in us for his glory, then these daily living sacrifices of our bodies would yield awesome results, for his glory.

Sadly in this country of mine ‘Ireland,’ there are very little signs and wonders being seen, that is why it is a ‘’pagan’’ country filled with ‘’religious people’’ who follow a religion but denying the saviours power, ‘’love one another as I have loved you,’’ ‘’do nothing to offend one another’’ yet at this time of year, July / August, this country is still filled with hate, as religious denominations have parades trying to force their way through another religions areas, and causing deep resentment to others instead of loving and respecting those others wishes not to have those sectarian parades being forced through their area with triumphalism over a battle hundreds of years ago in Ireland. These people claim that they do these things for ‘god and for Ulster,’ yet all they do is cause offence, where is the love of their god then in these circumstances; scripture tells us to do nothing to offend our neighbour, do the things they do offend? Yes they do, for they are the cause of uprising, and spreading hatred and causing fighting going on for days, as their offensives marches are forced through Catholic areas by a police force made up on mainly the same religion as themselves, and these people no longer live in the areas they wish to go back to, to show their triumphalism, a pagan display of religious offence.

The Old Testament is now past; and a New Testament is here, with totally ‘’new power and authority’’ with it for now God has come to reside in his temple and his Spirit resides there also with Jesus in spirit, as one with and in us.

On the other side of the fence we have Catholics parading in their own areas showing support for a terrorist organisation or some other dead republican who may have been killed trying to kill someone else, be it soldier, policeman or civilian. There is no difference between the two sides for both offend, and do not hold on the commands of the lord God to love one another, and loves does no wrong to each other. This is idolatry, a sin that separates them from God the true God not their religious god.

I am having healing services in a bar because the mainline churches are not interested in Jesus or what he wants to do for his children and so the only place that I can have healing services is in bars where their owners have freely given us there use, and in these bars God is doing awesome miracles. My desire is to see others copy what I am doing for God will do the same miracles and healings that I see happening every Monday night for them also. We should all be doing these things for the glory of God looking forward to the time when he will come back again in ‘’flaming fire’’ with his mighty angels for us who love him.

Just recently the country passed a law allowing [gays] homosexuals to marry, because the people voted for this law unanimously, for the people don’t know God or who or what he is, they believe there is a God but have absolutely no idea who he is or what he done for us. You cannot blame homosexuals for anything they do, for these people do not know what they do, for they are blinded and the church’s do nothing to promote the true word of God except for a small number of them, the born again church’s, thank God for them!

And this for god and for Ulster side of the religious divide won the battle, and still claim they are celebrating the victory that their king won over another religious group. It is called ‘’idolatry’’ in the word of God; is this showing the name of Jesus in a good light, as these people claim what they do is for ‘’god and for Ulster,’’ and the other side is no better. For they were once prepared to kill and destroy in the name of their god i.e. republicanism, another false god of which, when I came to the lord had to repent of, as I once was one of them.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 Living Bible

And so I would say to you who are suffering, God will give you rest along with us when the Lord Jesus appears suddenly from heaven in ‘’flaming fire’’ with his mighty angels,

This is the fire I am waiting for, his return for me and all the Christians in the world and to share in the glory of my lord and saviour not shouting for fire to fall on some poor Christian.

Amen

I wish the fire of God would fall down on those parading through this land offending each other and then maybe we would have a true peace in this land of ours
