STATEMENT OF INTEREST An Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) or an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), as known as a drone that is flown remotely. It ranges from small personal aircrafts which can be lifted by one person and cost a few hundred dollars, to military surveillance and attack aircrafts that cost over $21 million. The impact from commercial and military already increase years and very magnificent. It will creating over $98 billion market and more than 100,000 job positions by 2030. I am so interesting in civil using, particularly in photograph and film, because there is more fun way to record life and to make the pictures. However, people still need use the remoter to control the drone, some of them could use the phone or tablet and remoter to fly drones and same time. I want to design a app or remote system could help no experience users fly their drones by using phone or tablet without extra remoter. User could preset the functions in phone to instruct the drone. The most important feature is hands free, when picture taking. It could be smarter than any of drones out of market.

ABSTRACT

Did you know there is a new way to take picture? It could let you take pictures on your phone hands free. More than that, it could help you to record the most terrific experiences of your life. Imagine a drone operated by an app that could be a professional photographer by your side. When you solo extreme sport, hike Yosemite, enjoy with friends, it will give you a compelling picture and short video.

INSPIRATION Lily drone

The desired market for the ‘Lily Drone’ is basically for those whom love adventure, it is suitable for any use, whether it’d be camping, snowing, or travelling. The broad mass of consumers, range from the age of 15+. The product would be segmented for those under the demographic elements. We try to aim our product towards adventurous, young individuals, including the elderly’s whom still feel young at heart and wish to capture every moment.

12

COMPETITOR DJI drone user interface

At first glance, it’s totally overwhelming. There are so many settings, buttons, and features, your Phantom’s battery will be dead long before you get a chance to look at them all. As such, I thought it would be helpful to start at the beginning and go through the app feature by feature, button by button. As previously mentioned, this is where the app can get a little overwhelming. Fortunately, DJI includes a very helpful overlay of the user interface when you first open the screen. If I tried to address every bubble in those three images, I would be here for the rest of the week and precisely zero people would read this whole post so I will quickly touch on the most important/least obvious ones.

13

COMPETITOR 3DR drone user interface

I could go on at this point and walk you through an absolutely complete and comprehensive list of itemized instructions; but for once, someone saved us the trouble. I’m guessing the folks at 3D Robotics have learned from the mistakes of other companies’ drone rollouts because the Solo “information portal” is the best, simplest, and easiest to follow set of instructions for a particular aerial platform that I have ever seen.

14

COMPETITOR 3DR drone user interface

The fact that it’s controlled with a phone or tablet certainly helps. Flying by touchscreen isn’t the best experience, but honestly handing someone a regular remote control for the first time arguably isn’t any better. Instead of sticks and switches and buttons, you’re tapping on a screen and sliding your thumbs around or simply tilting your phone in the direction you want it to fly. The mobile app is free, but you can make a $20 in-app purchase to unlock more advanced flight-plan capabilities, letting you set waypoints for the Bebop 2 to follow among other things.

Even though her hiking friends could help her to take pictures, the angels and backgrounds could not let her satisfied. She could not find best solutions for it.

Exo is a very versatile font, so it has 9 weights (the maximum on the web) and each with a true italic version. Exo 2 has a more organic look that will perform much better at small text sizes and in long texts.
