PAJAMA STORYTIME AND STUFFED ANIMAL SLEEPOVER

Last Wednesday of the month, 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Meadows – Ages 0-5

Bring your favorite stuffy and blanket for a special evening storytime. Pajamas are encouraged! After storytime, enjoy snacks and (if you wish) leave your stuffed animal at the library overnight for a sleepover.

*CRAZY 8’S MATH CLUB: GRADES 3-5

Thursdays from Sept. 7–Nov. 2, 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Reynolds (Sept. 28 is canceled)

Practice your math skills and gain confidence with fun hands-on games that get kids fired up about math!

Crazy 8’s is a recreational after-school math club. Make glow-in-the dark geometry, search for pirate treasure and many other fun math-y activities. Plan to attend all eight sessions.

BUG SAFARI WITH BUTTERFLY PAVILION

Thursday, Sept. 7, 4–5 p.m. at Meadows – Ages 3+ Celebrate Pollinator Month and meet invertebrates from environments around the globe! Learn about their characteristics, where and how they live, and why they are important in our world. Presented by the Butterfly Pavilion.

GAME GATHERING: MUNCHIES & MAYHEM

Sunday, Sept. 10, 2–4 p.m. at Meadows – All ages Play hilarious and fun tabletop games such as “Throw Throw Burrito” and “Bears vs Babies” while enjoying snacks, hot chocolate, and new and old friends!

Wednesdays, Sept. 20–Oct. 25, 4:45–5:45 p.m. at Reynolds

Weekly sessions promote STEAM knowledge and literacy by providing high school role models (Big Pals) for art and science activities for grades K-2 (Little Pals). Big Pals guide Little Pals through the scientific process, lead scientific inquiry, and help with journaling.

*INFANT MASSAGE WITH FAITH DAVIS

Tuesday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m.–noon at Main in the Boulder Creek Room

Infant massage is a wonderful way to bond with babies. Learn simple massage techniques that are safe for any healthy baby, as well as routines to help gas, sleep, and development. Bring your baby and a soft blanket. Pre-crawlers and their caregivers are welcome. No massage experience is needed.
