SEED SAVING 101: HOW TO SAVE SEEDS FROM YOUR GARDEN OR KITCHEN SCRAPS

Learn how to properly harvest, process and store seeds for flowers, vegetables, fruit and herbs. Tips will include when and how to harvest seed, tools and materials needed for processing and storing, and then practical and resourceful methods for storage. Attendees should bring a small box such as a recipe box or notecard box for their seed bank.

Make reusable beewax treat pockets and sandwich wraps using simple hand-sewing techniques with the BeeChicas. Learn a lot about beeswax and reduce your need for single-use plastic! We’ll share some readings from a few of our favorite authors to inspire you. Adult helper required for children under 12.
