Seed saving is a great way to share your favorite plant varieties and save money. In this class with CSU Extension we’ll talk about the basics of seed saving for vegetables and easy-to-grow flowers, including why seed saving is important (and fun!).

Join the BeeChicas to hear about gentle bumble bees’ life cycles and behaviors and learn some tips on how you can identify them. Make a handy bumble bee guide zine to help identify bumble bees in the Native Plant Garden. Adult helper required for children under 12. Please register each person attending the event.

Collecting and saving seeds from native plants is an easy and fun activity to help increase the biodiversity in your own yard! Staff from Wildlands Restoration Volunteers will share tips and tricks to get started saving and planting your own native seeds.

Swap and share your homegrown seeds, unopened packets of store-bought seeds, seedlings and small plants! Fall is a wonderful time to plant native plants, perennials and trees.
