Follow along with an instructional painting video and create your own work of art. All supplies provided.

Social Stitchers

Third Wednesday of the month, 5:15–6:30 p.m. at Main in the Flatirons Room

All crafters are invited to connect through making – from crochet enthusiasts to avid knitters, keen stitchers to skilled embroiderers. Show off your latest projects, exchange valuable tips and immerse yourself in a supportive space where creativity flourishes. Bring your own project materials. There will be some common tools available for use.

Play old favorites like Chess or Scrabble, and try new games like Wingspan or Catan. Grandmaster Games will provide a selection of tabletop games to choose from and will teach new players how to play. Light refreshments will be served.

*2013 FLOOD COMMEMORATION STORY CIRCLE

Tuesday, Sept. 12, 6–8 p.m. at Carnegie Library for Local History

The 2013 floods were a defining moment for the Boulder community. As we reflect on the event ten years later, we know many personal stories haven’t been told, and new perspectives have emerged as we consider how our community has grown stronger. Join city staff and staff from the Maria Rogers Oral History Program to share and listen in story circles.

Create your own snow globe diorama before the “Labyrinth” Family Film Social. This crafting activity is for children of all ages, but children under 12 will need an adult to help them. We will provide a wide array of diorama materials so that you can create a little snow globe to take away with you to the movie!
