ouvet-Ladubay has been involved in film production for three years now, with French director Jean-Pierre Mocky. For this series of 24 films entitled “Myster Mocky presents”, the director of “La Saison des Plaisirs” worked with Arielle Dombasle, Frédéric Diefenthal, Victoria Abril, Michel Piccoli, Richard Bohringer and Richard Anconina, in Sir Hitchcock style. The great master of suspense was also the one who provided JeanPierre Mocky with his valuable material: short thrillers never adapted on screen, only published in Hitchcock Magazine and for which he acquired the rights from Patricia, daughter of Alfred Hitchcock.

Out of the 24 films, 15 were shot in Saumur and at Bouvet-Ladubay, they are today hitting worldwide distribution and about to be screened in Europe, the Maghreb countries, South America and even China !

Focus BOUVET BRUT
Chardonnay
O
riginally from Burgundy, this grape variety conquered all wine territories. Connoisseurs like the typical fruit, white flowers and honeysuckle aromas.
Presenting the latest “jewel“ of the House Taille Princesse de Gérard Depardieu by Bouvet-Ladubay Taille Princesse is fruiting from the friendship between Gérard Depardieu and Patrice Monmousseau, who met for the first edition of the Journées Nationales du Livre et du Vin, dedicated to the memory of French actor Jean Carmet, close friend of Gérard.
“In January 2007 we created this blend of Chenin blanc and Chardonnay, aged in oak barrels. We first bottled this wine in July 2007 and decided to have this cuvée a slightly more brut dosage to fit the style we wanted.“ Patrice Monmousseau explained.
A few well-advised comments...
“I enjoyed creating Taille Princesse with Bouvet-Ladubay, and my friend Patrice“ says Gérard Depardieu. “The harmonies of Chenin blanc and Chardonnay express the character I like. Taille Princesse refers to Princess diamond cut, which is a 76 facets diamond cut. It was chosen as a remenberance of my grandmother who was a precious stone cutter in Jura. Also, I thought this name would fit in BouvetLadubay Bruts de Loire collection : Saphir, Trésor, Rubis.“
“An exceptional quality !“ “Clear colour with green highlights for this 100% Chardonnay of exceptional quality. With fine bubbles and fruit aromas to please the palate. Bouvet : the Loire finest sparkling institution !“
Tasting notes : “Nice expression of ripe and dried fruits. Citrus notes develop with oxygenation. A lively wine, fine bubble and nice fruit expression. Notes of white peaches and soft spices. Full, long lasting.“ Cyril Carré, Chef Sommelier LA MARE AUX OISEAUX, Saint Joachim, Loire Atlantique
Thomas Gries Wineshop - Göttingen, Germany
“Excellent value for money “ “For partying in these times of crisis, let’s choose a Ligerian sparkling delight. Bouvet Chardonnay Brut will meet your needs with its excellent value for money. A nice life acidity and a soft freshness on the palate. This “Brut“ also develops fine, delicate bubbles thanks to second bottled fermentation.“
“Full-bodied with a fruity bouquet, this wine reveals honey and apple aromas. This wine is well balanced with very fine bubbles, leaving a beautiful long finish.“ M. Kikuchi, Œnologist Magazine WINE KINGDOM, Japan.
