Digital information? •

Digitization of information has the last decades expanded enormously. So strong in fact that it is often forgotten that not everything can be found on the internet. Books and magazines are still indispensable in the search for information.

•

Especially in the art and design disciplines is digitization of information less common than in other disciplines. Still every year thousands of book titles appear and worldwide is the selection of architecture magazines around 800. Note that for the majority counts that they are in paper form.

•

To retrieve and access information of books and magazines there are catalogs and databases This mainly concerns bibliographic information leading to books and articles in magazines. On this moment hardly anything is full text available.

Book collection The library has a specialised collection of more than 12,000 titles in the field of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture. There is also a large background collection of books and periodicals from the period 1880-1945.
