With her eyes on a career in the events industry, Georgia joined Adelaide Oval as a hospitality trainee, gaining on-the-job experience while studying a Certificate III in Hospitality through TAFE SA. “The whole traineeship experience was great. I was able to learn on the job and apply everything straight away,” she says. “The TAFE SA lecturer came to us every few weeks and in between visits we had assignments to do. “I really enjoyed that the lecturer came to us and we were trained on the facilities that we were going to use every day.”
