PROGRAMS

The GALLATIN VALLEY YMCA

summer programs focus on youth development and learning, “through a wide range of activities, fi eld trips, and opportunities.” Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided by the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. All of their camps run from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Financial assistance is available. It is also important to note that all counselors are fully CPR and fi rst aid certifi ed. Registration opens March 1st for YMCA members, and March 15th for non-members. Their three camps are broken down according to age; K-2nd, 2nd-4th, and 5th-7th.

KINDERGARTEN-2ND GRADE & 2-4TH GRADE

These age groups focus on youth development and learning, “through creativity, play, and exploration of our environment. Our activities and trips are intentionally planned to promote physical, cognitive, and emotional/social development and provide them with memorable experiences and friendships that last a lifetime.” The camp offers many activities and fi eld trips for campers, all of which cater to learning as well. These two age groups cost $190 per week for members, and $245 per week for non-members.

5TH-7TH GRADE

For the teenage group the YMCA provides more opportunities for independence. “Campers are encouraged to make their own choices, build relationships, and develop important life skills through our YMCA character values.” The activities can be more challenging, however; “It provides a safe place where teens can be themselves, participate in activities, and go on fi eld trips specifi cally tailored towards teens’ evolving interests.” This group costs $200 per week for members, and $245 per week for non-members.

“Whether the boat you are sailing is big or small, the winds are the same. A sailor goes from one point of land to another, but in the circus we sail from one dream to another. With a smaller boat, it’s easier to navigate around the icebergs”

“We came looking for a childcare solution, and we ended up finding a community for our kids to thrive. THANK YOU!”

“You know you found the place for your kids when it’s them who wake you up in the morning to go to camp” Acting
