POEM Choco the bear was very sweet But she hated the summer heat

So she searched for a place to rest When she found Torty’s nest The sand was full of eggs she saw And then a giant lion’s paw Confused she said “What is this?” When Leo the Lion said that it was his! “No way!” said Choco “it can’t be!” “Do you see a fool in me?” Then Greg the elephant came in And said, “Choco listen!”

“It doesn’t matter whose eggs these are They are too precious and dear! We must all take care of it And ensure we do our little bit To take care of the little ones While Torty’s away from his daughters and sons” Then Monty the mouse blew his horn And all praised the Lion For helping Torty, the tortoise in the hour of need, He was the king of the jungle indeed!

The tiger is a magnificent animal found in tropical

climates mostly in Asia. Unlike other big cats like Lions and Leopards, Tigers, love to swim in water. They are ferocious animals who prey on Sambar Deer, Buffaloes and Wild Pigs. In exceptional cases, they also prey on Elephants, Rhinos and even humans, which is why they are also known as ‘man eaters’. Animal enthusiasts and forest lovers

initiated ‘Project Tiger’ in 1973. It was initiated to save the national animal of the country and also restore their natural habitats. The other aim was to make sure that the animals could breed in safety, which would significantly increase their populations.

Tiger populations across the world have been dwindling due to encroachment of forest area and rampant poaching. Loss of habitat and inadequate food supply are also reasons why tiger populations have been shrinking over the years. Due to this rapid decline in the number of tigers in Indian forests, the Indian government

Kakapo’s are the only type of night parrots that cannot fly July 22

We know that birds are known for flying and soaring high, but

did you know that there is one very unique bird that is flightless? The Kakapo is a large bird that is typically green in colour and belongs to the parrot family, but unlike the rest of its kind this distinctive bird does not fly. Instead, it uses its beautiful wings to balance and support itself rather than flap them. Its feathers are significantly softer than those of other birds, because they are not used for flight. A true example of the beauty of nature, this flightless bird is found in New Zealand. It is incredibly sad though, that the Kakapo is critically endangered, and is the focus of conservation attention. If protected, however, the Kakapo will remain one of the most rare species ever found in birds!

This deeply moving short film tells the story of a little boy,

John, whose grandfather suffers from dementia, a condition in which people lose the ability to remember things clearly. John is thoroughly confused and clearly upset about why his grandfather is unable to remember some of the most important things of his life. While he tackles this thought, he comes across an old picture album that has pictures of some of the most special moments of his grandfather’s life. Utilizing his artistic abilities, he starts sketching his own analysis of his granddad’s memories, which gradually starts reminding him of the beautiful moments of his life. Through art and creativity, the duo nurtured their relationship. While the grandson comes up with his innovative drawings for each picture, his grandfather relives those moments. The little grandson john is an excellent example of how every child should treat their grandparents and strive to give them all the happiness they deserve.

12OO-2OOO miles off the coast of Africa,

does it look like a waterfall? It is actually sand. Huge deposits of sand flow into deeper levels as a result of continual erosion. This creates an optical illusion where it seems like an entire body of water is falling down a cliff located higher. This spectacular phenomenon can only be observed from a higher place and several helicopter tours are available for tourists to experience this magnificent phenomenon. Would you like to visit this amazing place soon?

in the island nation of Mauritius, lays a spectacular geological phenomenon, an underwater waterfall! Spectators and scientists across the world have been baffled by the phenomenon. Created about 8 million years ago, by volcanic eruptions, it is one of the recent additions in terms of its geological time span. However, calling it a waterfall would be a misnomer, because there is no water that “falls” from a higher plain to a lower one, as is the case for normal waterfalls. If not pouring water then why

Ellie, Guffy, Teddy and Finny were old friends

Finny were scared of the river, they could never explore the world past the limited area they lived in, which made them sad. So Ellie and Teddy made a stone bridge over the river for Guffy and Finny. Ellie the Elephant helped Guffy the giraffe and Teddy the bear helped finny the fox cross the bridge. They were truly amazed by the beauty of the forest that lay beyond the bridge. The friends remained just as considerate and empathetic for the rest of their lives.

who did everything together. When Finny the fox said he was too scared of the river, Guffy the Giraffe agreed. He said the water was so cold that he never liked bathing. Ellie the Elephant and Teddy the bear disagreed. They said playing with the water was the best thing about their lives. Ellie said splashing water on her mother was too much fun and Teddy the bear said swimming in the river on a hot summer day was so relaxing. Where have you been? It has been long. Haven’t you heard me singing my song? To tell you there is a new friend For which you’ll need to bend To have a proper look at him Because he is too tiny and slim He only plays and often barks And has beautiful stripes and marks He is a gift from our beloved God And he says his name is Claude He is my favourite friend so far, Let’s all stay with each other Because in the wild you never know What dangers might follow We all need to take care of him, Because he is little and straight out of a dream!

Teddy and Guffy were arguing about who was bigger. Teddy said “I’m the bigger one because my paws are bigger than yours! My tummy is also bigger and my nails are so long!” Finny the fox saw it was true and said he would climb Teddy’s back to reach the apple! Lory the Lion thought Guffy the giraffe’s legs and neck were much taller. Lory said “I’ll climb on Guffy’s back to get the apple for us!” While they were busy deciding who was bigger and who was taller, a small monkey, climbed the tree and got the apple! He had the biggest intellect of them all!
