OZ A R K M O U N T A I N
If it’s November 1, it’s time for Ozark Mountain Christmas, a spectacular Christmas celebration through January 7 filled with lights, music, and joy. Branson’s lineup of Christmas events is truly something to behold, with celebrations (and lights) at literally every turn. Branson’s star performers are ready to share the holidays with you and your family as many of the live music shows convert to Christmas versions of their productions.
with dazzling costuming and sets, Branson’s entertaining families celebrate the reason for the season in song and dance. There’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than by enjoying a Branson Christmas show. From country music to Broadway-style productions, pop songs to Christmas carols, Branson’s lineup of live performances offers a wide variety of holiday entertainment, and you’ll leave each show feeling nothing but merry!
Silver Dollar City’s An Old Time Christmas is Branson’s brilliant holiday experience with more than 6.5 million lights, an elaborate eight-story animated Christmas tree, a light parade, holiday foods, and more. The park has been the reigning champion for many years of Best Theme Park Holiday Event in America. Even brighter is Christmas in Midtown with light tunnels, wreath portals, flying angels, and special effects nine stories tall. For thrill seekers, rides soar above the City with all the Christmas lights visible below. Plus, artisans demonstrate glassblowing, wood carving, and pottery—creating one-of-a-kind heirlooms.
The City’s stages offer more than 30 shows each day and night, including the longtime favorite production, A Dickens’ Christmas Carol. Coming Home for Christmas features a live band and a cast of 14 singers and dancers presenting holiday music, stories, and family traditions. Rudolph’s Holly Jolly™ Christmas Light Parade winds through each evening with floats, characters, dancers, and performers. Guests aboard the Frisco Sing-Along Steam Train enjoy a Christmas story and sing along to their favorite carols. To add to the festivities, menus offer a variety of seasonal treats such as a Holiday Dinner with smoked turkey, ham, prime rib, and
trimmings; specialty soups like potato leek; Silver Dollar City’s Miner’s Beef Stew; plus, a variety of sweets like hot chocolate and wassail, s’mores, and warm apple dumplings with homemade cinnamon ice cream.
Take the family to one of the drivethrough light displays: Branson’s Lights of Joy will be shining super LED-bright with dozens of scenes near Sight & Sound Theatre; Let There Be Lights at Promised Land Zoo is the largest drive-through display in the Ozarks and has a living nativity with live animals; celebrate the season at Shepherd of the Hills North Pole Adventure, a walk-through experience that takes you past thousands of
twinkling lights, and includes a visit from Santa and his reindeer.
The 75th Adoration Parade takes place on Sunday, December 3 at dusk. Branson celebrates keeping Christ in Christmas on this special night. With the lighting of the Adoration scene atop Mt. Branson, it is an overwhelming outpouring of love from our community as we come together to honor the story of Jesus’ birth.
LEFT Adoration Parade BELOWWith more than 1,500 Christmas trees throughout the destination in 2021, Branson’s “WE ALL SHINE ON!” third annual community Christmas tree display was adorned with nearly 200 brightly lit stars of many shapes, sizes, and colors. The 2022 display, located in the heart of Branson’s Entertainment District near the Branson Ferris Wheel, is a celebration of unity and perseverance. Together, this creative and varied community continues to shine on in unique and beautiful ways. Along with a colorful centerpiece tree, visitors can expect to see up to 60 major trees around town plus 1,000 decorated Christmas trees at Silver Dollar City theme park. Charming downtown Branson is lined with sparkling winter wonderland lamp post lighting
and several businesses ramp up their own lighting to wow guests from Main Street to West 76 Country Boulevard with more than 180,000 starry lights!
Holidays remind us of the importance of preserving history and time-honored family traditions. At the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead , A Shepherd’s Christmas Carol does just that. While the audience indulges in a full turkey dinner and pumpkin dessert, a true Christmas classic starring your favorite characters from the Shepherd of the
Hills Outdoor Drama happens right before your very eyes.
If New Year’s Eve requires a resolution to start on a memorable note, Branson has a variety of family-friendly entertainment options. But if you’re wanting a romantic getaway with your special someone, we have that, too. There are plenty of shows taking the stage each December 31 in Branson.

ave you ever wanted to drop all your plans and set out on a spontaneous trip filled with adventure and excitement? Do you like being in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature? This is exactly what the Explore Branson team has in store for the day. Not only are we visiting Lake Taneycomo, Bull Shoals Lake, and Table Rock Lake, we will be attempting to boat on all three within 12 hours or less. You read that right, THREE pristine lakes.
let’s get started! i
UPPER LAKE TANEYCOMO, LILLEYS’ LANDING RESORT AND MARINA
TIME OF ARRIVAL / 6 A.M.
The clock starts at 6:00 a.m. as we gather our boating supplies for the day, and venture out to Lilleys’ Landing Marina, located on Lake Taneycomo. The team has come fully prepared; our bags are packed with swimsuits, sunscreen, beach towels, and, most importantly, lots of snacks. Lilleys’ Landing is only 10 minutes away from the heart of Branson, but the drive makes it feel like we’ve been transported into a world engulfed in nature. As we park at 6:45 a.m., the dense fog stretches out over rolling hills and settles on top of Lake Taneycomo’s brisk water. Lilleys’ Landing Resort and Fly & Tackle Shop are perched on top of a hillside, with the dock located directly below. In the shop, we are warmly welcomed by the staff of Lilleys’ Landing. The massive selection of fly, tackle, and other merchandise is something you will not want to miss. If you are looking for a peaceful resort filled with nature’s beauty, this is your stop.
team as they venture out on an action-packed day exploring the three pristine lakes located within our beautiful Ozark Mountains, with an ambitious goal of boating on all three within 12 hours or less!
TROUT FISHING, CAPTAIN PARKER AT MALONEY’S GUIDE SERVICE
TIME OF ARRIVAL / 7:05 A.M.
After a tour of the marina store and fly and tackle shop, we meet up with our fishing guide. Captain Parker, with Maloney’s Guide Service, is a native of the area and has turned his passion for the lakes into his livelihood. Parker works with anglers of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. You can expect to enjoy a beautiful boat ride along the Taneycomo channel, as well as cast a line out for rainbow and brown trout. We slowly idle out into the middle of the channel and make our way toward the “narrows” in the trophy area. Although there are dams at both ends, which qualifies this body of water as a lake, Taneycomo resembles a river with its slender passages, coining the term “narrows.”
The surface water temperature this morning is 56°, making it a brisk boat ride to our fishing spot. Taneycomo is covered by a cloud of fog, following us with every bend of the channel. After stopping shortly at Fall Creek Marina, Captain Parker lowers the trolling motor and begins tying feather jigs onto the fishing lines. The current slowly pushes us back upriver and allows for our lines to slide across the bottom of the riverbed. Within minutes, we catch a 19-inch rainbow trout! This beautiful fish is thickly speckled with black spots and accented with a bright pink longitudinal stripe. After another few casts and time floating with the channel, we secure a 21-inch rainbow trout, which classifies as a trophy fish on Lake Taneycomo. After about an hour and a half on the water, we call this a successful trip. We are clocking in at 8:37 a.m. as Captain Parker drops us back off at the dock, right on time.
Taneycomo is covered by a cloud of fog, following us with every bend of the channel.
CLOCKER’S CAFE, DOWNTOWN BRANSON
TIME OF ARRIVAL / 9:02 A.M.
The excitement is high as we walk off Lilleys’ Landing dock and travel onto our next destination. Along our 30-minute drive, we plan to make a stop at Clocker’s Cafe in Historic Downtown Branson. This iconic breakfast spot is a mustvisit during our lakes day. As we walk down the street, businesses begin to open their doors and welcome the day’s customers. To our surprise, we are seated immediately and have orders taken in no time. This must be our lucky day, as Clocker’s is always bustling with hungry customers. The setting inside the restaurant is eclectic, filled with timeless clocks and vintage memorabilia. Listed below are our meal orders, which we highly recommend:
THE HAYSTACK
Half a biscuit, one sausage patty, half an order of hash browns, and one egg, all smothered with sausage gravy
EGGS BENEDICT
Thick-sliced, old-fashioned Canadian bacon stacked on a toasted English muffin and topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, served with hash browns
THE OMELETTE STATION
Three large farm-fresh eggs with bacon, ham, and Provolone cheese, served with hash browns
TIME OF ARRIVAL / 10:45 A.M. 4
BULL SHOALS LAKE, K DOCK MARINA
One pristine lake down, two to go. Next up: Bull Shoals Lake. We are heading to K Dock Marina in Kirbyville, Missouri. With each mile farther from Branson, there are more beautiful landscapes that surround us. The temperature is heating up and we are ready for a midday boat rental. We park our car and immediately jump out to see the gorgeous view overlooking Bull Shoals Lake. As far as we could see, the water was completely still and there was not a breath of wind. Watersport enthusiasts: this might be your new yearly vacation spot. When venturing onto Bull Shoals, you will find glassy water any day, at any time.
“Even at noon on a warm Saturday in July” you may ask? Absolutely! Being just 10 miles outside of Branson, you would never expect this massive lake to have such crystal-clear waters and untouched shorelines.
We step onto K Dock Marina and are immediately welcomed by the owners, Scott and Judi. They have owned K Dock for 10 years and have a true passion for the water and the beautiful Bull Shoals. Ask for a tour of the famous Floating RV, exclusively at K Dock Marina! This bright teal beauty sits on a floating platform and still has a fully functional interior, equipped with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It is an absolute must-see if you visit Bull Shoals Lake. We jump on a rental boat and take off toward the wider portion of the lake. Although our trip is taking place while the water level is normal, this is not always the case for Bull Shoals. Keep in mind that the lake level can fluctuate between 630 and 690 feet. A 60-foot increase can make a significant difference in campsite availability, rental boat capacity, and marina hours. If you are booking a trip here, make sure to call ahead to see what the conditions are. After a few hours of catching some rays and enjoying a peaceful boat ride, we decide to head back into the marina. We are clocking in at 2:30 p.m. and will be on the road soon to our final pristine lake, Table Rock.
Table Rock
5TABLE ROCK LAKE, STATE PARK MARINA
TIME OF ARRIVAL / 3:15 P.M.
After a gorgeous drive from Bull Shoals toward Table Rock, we bask in the beauty that the Ozark Mountains have to offer. As we park our cars at State Park Marina, we are clocking in at 3:15 p.m. It’s official — we made it to all three pristine lakes in a little over nine hours! But we are not stopping just yet. Table Rock Lake is like our stomping grounds, with most of the Explore Branson team growing up around this water. Our last quest of the day is to water ski. Our day cannot be complete without a watersport, right? There is a quiet cove across from the marina, near Point 2, so we take a ski boat out and
cross the channel. Table Rock is a busy lake in the summer, a sharp contrast to the peaceful isolation we found on Bull Shoals Lake. We enter the cove as I throw on a life jacket and step into my slalom ski, anxious to get out there. The water is amazing, with hardly anyone in the cove around us. After skiing until it felt like our arms were going to fall off, we decide to end the night watching a beautiful sunset with a pizza from one of our favorite spots. We are clocking in at 5:30 p.m. and the team is ready for our day to be complete.
Lake is like our stomping grounds, with most of the Explore Branson team growing up around this water.
CAFÉ BRIDGES, STATE PARK MARINA
TIME OF ARRIVAL / 5:59 P.M.
State Park Marina is bustling with boat traffic and rental boat customers coming off the water after a long day of fun. We park the ski boat and jump onto the beautifully maintained dock. We eagerly check out the marina’s store, a shopper’s paradise, before popping into Café Bridges for delicious pizza and wings. Café Bridges also offers sandwiches and an excellent coffee bar. Here are our orders for the day:
CHICKEN BACON RANCH PIZZA
VEGGIE OVERLOAD PIZZA
GARLIC PARMESAN BONELESS WINGS
VANILLA ICED LATTE X 4
HOME TIME OF ARRIVAL / 7:30 P.M.
As our adventurous day of exploring the three pristine lakes comes to an end, the Explore Branson team is filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride. We’re happy our mission was successful, and we hope we’ve inspired others to dig into their outdoor enthusiast side and explore the beautiful Ozarks here in Branson!
If you are looking to follow this itinerary when planning your next adventurous trip to the Ozarks, we recommend spending at least two days at each pristine lake. This gives you time to explore new areas, familiarize yourself with each lake, visit restaurants, and stop at the marinas on the water.

If you’re looking for a way to have fun with the family while working on your short game, a night of mini golf might be just what you need. There are countless courses across town—let us be your guide to creating your Branson mini golf tour.
Branson Mini Golf
SHOTS
JORDAN DAVISBIGFOOT ADVENTURE
MINI GOLF
OVERALL THEMING On this course, your group will cross rivers and explore caves to track down America’s favorite monster, Bigfoot. This theme is brought to life with narrow pathways, making some golfers push past bushes and foliage to complete the “wilderness” experience. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for evidence of Bigfoot activity.
PIRATE’S COVE ADVENTURE GOLF
OVERALL THEMING At Pirate’s Cove, the dedication to the theme is front and center even before you pick up a putter. With several waterfalls, caves, and a full-scale pirate ship, players will feel like they’re following a treasure map. The best part of Pirate’s Cove is how set pieces, like the pirate ship, are integrated into the course. Several holes also feature unique and fun water hazards to keep players on their toes.
OVERALL CHALLENGE Ranked as one of the top mini golf courses in the state, according to TripAdvisor reviews, Bigfoot Adventure is a great place to start your Branson Mini Golf Tour. Here, you’ll find a strong balance between simple and more challenging courses. Keep in mind that many of these tend to be a bit narrow, and when combined with the slower putting greens, you might need to put a little more power behind your putts than expected.
OVERALL CHALLENGE Often considered Branson’s “ultimate” mini golf experience, Pirate’s Cove is equal parts fun and challenging, making this a great time for teens and more experienced mini golfers looking for a challenge. Players looking to win will have to take full advantage of the many shortcuts and tunnels hidden along each hole. As an extra bonus, a player who lands a holein-one on the “Hole-of-the-Day” can win a free round of golf.
SHOOT FOR THE STARS MINI-GOLF
OVERALL THEMING In the world of mini golf, it can be refreshing to hit a course with a theme outside the usual “adventure” look and feel. This is one of the many shining elements of Shoot for the Stars, as the course is decked out in a Golden Age of Hollywood theme. Along this 18-hole course, players take on the starring role of Hollywood’s next idol, with each hole becoming another step on their rise to fame. This includes checking out many Hollywood landmarks like Capitol Records and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
OVERALL CHALLENGE When it comes to challenges, this course leans on the easier side of things. With straightforward putts and few obstacles within the field of play, the real challenges here come down to your ability to judge the power needed to sink your putt. However, there are still plenty of holes that reward taking aim at risky shortcuts. This makes Shoot for the Stars a great course for a variety of players but might leave more experienced mini golfers looking for more action.
WORLD OF WIZARDS INDOOR BLACKLIGHT MINI GOLF
OVERALL THEMING If you or anyone in your group is a fan of fantasy, new and old, this is the course for you. World of Wizards takes a great amount of pride in its theming, referencing everything from Harry Potter to Dungeons & Dragons. This makes each room you find unique and fun to explore, with an exciting finale—a massive animatronic dragon guards the 18th hole. Now, what really brings the World of Wizards to life are the 3D glasses and black-light effects.
LOST TREASURE GOLF
OVERALL CHALLENGE When it comes to this course, the overall difficulty will come down to using the 3D glasses. When in use, the glasses can have an impact on your depth perception, and the 3D effects can play tricks on your eyes, causing some obstacles to appear bigger than they are. That said, even if you choose to skip the glasses, the course still has a wide spectrum of difficulty. Ranging from simple to surprisingly challenging, the course may leave some members of your party running out of strokes.
No matter how old you are, a game of mini golf is a great way to feel like a kid again. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to get out there and try your hand at some of Branson’s top shots.
OVERALL THEMING While any mini golf course can have a theme, very few of them demand your attention like Lost Treasure Golf. With a crashed plane perched on the edge of a cliff, an abandoned boat, and multiple rushing waterfalls, this course is almost guaranteed to catch your eye. It starts off with a train ride around the course, giving your group a peek at what’s ahead. From here, you’ll follow University of Chicago Professor Duffer A. Hacker, as he searches for lost gold and diamond mines in 1920s South America.
OVERALL CHALLENGE Lost
Treasure features two distinct mini golf courses—the Gold Trail (easier) and the Diamond Trail (harder)—so the overall challenge is up to you. However, both courses have similar characteristics. The putting greens play fast, so it doesn’t take much to send your ball flying. Most courses have large open areas behind each hole, meaning accuracy is key to winning.
TODDLER travels
YOUR GUIDE TO BRANSON FOR LITTLES
by A NNIE SOWELLAs a first-time mom of a toddler, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of travel with little ones. The “getting there” is often difficult enough, but once you’ve arrived at your destination, how are you to know what to do that will keep your little traveler content and engaged?
LEFT Bonding time at the Branson Ferris WheelAs a local to the Branson area, my husband and I often spend our weekends exploring all that Branson has to offer. While we enjoy quiet, baby-free date nights occasionally, we more regularly go on adventures together as a family—each outing with varying results. As our son is still so young, we don’t always know what he will enjoy until we’ve already spent the money and found out. Through our wins and losses, we now have a much better idea of what experiences are ideal for our young adventurer.
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, “favorite” aunt or uncle, cool older sibling, or soon-to-be parent of a little one, there is plenty to enjoy in Branson in the company of toddlers. Keep reading for my recommendations of things to do with your young ones while visiting Branson.
DOLLY PARTON’S STAMPEDE
When we made our way to Dolly Parton’s Stampede, our son was 10 months old. I wasn’t sure how he would do, but anything that involves food is a winner. He loved having bites of our meal, and especially the soup, as he watched the trick horse riders circle the arena. We attended the earlier dinner show, and afterward, we made our way to the Horse Walk to see up-close the beautiful horses who had just performed in the show.
BRANSON FERRIS WHEEL
I have never seen our boy quite as focused on anything as he was on the Branson skyline while riding on the Ferris Wheel. Personally, I would recommend early evening as the sun is beginning to set, but truly anytime is great for a ride. If you’re not opposed to a sweet treat—and the subsequent sugar rush—a stop at Andy’s Frozen Custard afterward is a great way to end the evening.
WHITE WATER
As the temperatures heat up, White Water is a great option for all ages. With a one-year-old, though, we entered White Water with the expectation that this would be a short trip, and it was for the first time. We arrived first thing in the morning to beat the summer heat. While Splashaway Cay for little ones was fun, we found that a few laps around the Lazy River and playing at the shallowest point of the wave pool were ideal for our adventurous little guy.
PACKING TIPS:
It’s helpful to bring a wagon as opposed to a stroller to keep everything contained.
While there are all sizes of life jackets available at White Water, you are permitted to bring your own infant/toddler life jacket as long as it’s Coast Guard approved (approval will be marked somewhere on the vest).
AQUARIUM AT THE BOARDWALK
Our little guy had his first Aquarium at the Boardwalk experience at only two months old, and now that he’s much older, we decided it was time to return. This 48,000-square-foot aquarium is filled with more than 250 species of marine life. He was intrigued especially by the jellyfish and any interactive display where he was able to touch the water himself.
LAKE DAY BOAT RENTAL
If your kiddo loves the water, renting a boat at any one of our marinas to spend some time on Table Rock Lake or Bull Shoals Lake is an ideal way to spend a summer day. If you plan around the heat and ensure that there will be plenty of shade available on the watercraft you choose, your little one is sure to have a blast.
PACKING TIPS:
A pack ‘n’ play is great to have onboard for your day in the sun. If you’re renting a pontoon or larger boat, this is a great way to contain your cranky passenger, who may need a break at some point during your time on the water.
While traveling with young ones, there are unique challenges; however, it can also be the most fun you’ll ever have. Watching the wonder in their eyes as they experience something new makes any and all frustration melt away. Branson is full of fun for every age, and it is my hope that while here, you feel equipped to bring your young adventurer along for the ride.

EXPERIENCES YOUR VACATION DESERVES
“ THE MOMENTS”
Picture this: you’re in your car on your way to work; it’s a bright morning, but not too hot. The sun is peeking through the trees and dancing off the dew on the grass. A gentle, happy song comes on your Spotify rotation as you’re sipping a perfectly brewed coffee in your favorite mug. Suddenly, it hits you: this is the moment.
If you’re on social media at all, you probably recall a recent trend where users were posting what they deemed to be “THE Photos,” or simply, photos that defined an undeniably good moment or aesthetic. Much like our dreamy, morning moment from above, we’re taking this concept of “THE photos” a step further, defining moments in Branson that Your Vacation needs to have. We’ve called them “THE moments,” and we’ve curated a list of the best ones to plan on experiencing on your next trip to Branson. Let’s get going!
by ASHLIE BEEDETHE LAKESIDE SUNRISE MOMENT:
SONG: “TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH” BY LORD
HURONOne of the defining things about Branson is its beautiful scenery. Surrounded by three pristine lakes and the rolling Ozark Mountains, finding the perfect backdrop for THE morning moment isn’t difficult.
THE Moment
In the spring or summertime, there’s no better place to be than Table Rock Lake. Grab an iced Stillwater latte at Café Bridges and listen to the waves lapping at the Dock in the easy morning light. In the fall, grab your coziest sweater and your thermos and head to Lilleys’ Landing to catch a fishing charter in the early morning fog. Visiting in winter? Head to Vintage Paris for a Van Gogh latte and a breathtaking scenic view of Lake Taneycomo. Pair any of these morning moments with our song pick above to maximize your experience.
THE LUNCH MOMENT: SONG: “BROWN EYED GIRL” BY
VAN MORRISONIf Your Vacation is looking for a charming café, a legendary burger, a flavor-packed experience, or a warm, inviting escape for lunchtime, look no further than Branson, Missouri.
When lunching in Branson, Sugar Leaf Bakery, Cafe & Espresso is an obvious choice. The best experience is a springtime visit. Order the Ultimate BLT with salt and vinegar chips and a peach tea. Find an umbrella-covered table outside to enjoy by the fountain.
Summertime lunch in Branson doesn’t get much better than the famous Billy Bob’s Dairyland. Find a booth inside the retro 50s-themed diner, order a cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake, and remember to bring cash—they’re dedicated to the old-school theme and don’t accept credit cards!
Fall and winter mean finding the perfect bowl of soup to cozy up to. Vasken’s Deli offers a delectable option with their red pepper and gouda soup. Pair with a small Greek salad for a perfect lunch. Noodle 21 is the spot for a comforting bowl of ramen. We suggest the Shin Ramen, but be warned, it is *spicy*. All of these lunches are sure to have you filled up and feeling good, especially when enjoyed with our song of choice playing in the background.
THE LIVE SHOW MOMENT:
SONG:“BLUE
SUEDE SHOES” BY ELVIS PRESLEYYou simply can’t vacation in Branson without at least one amazing show moment. While there are over 100 different shows to choose from, we’re shining the spotlight on a particularly impressive tribute artist who will have you rockin’ and rollin’ in your seat. Watch in wonder as Dean Z brings hits like our song choice to life with his ultimate Elvis tribute at the Dean Z–The Ultimate Elvis show.
THE Moment
Grab yourself some freshly made popcorn and a classic Coke, find a seat near the stage, and be prepared for a whole lotta shakin’ going on as Dean Z transports you back in time with the music and moves of The King of Rock ’n’ Roll!
THE FUN TOURISTY MOMENT:
SONG: “WILDFIRE” BY JOHN MAYER
Vacation simply isn’t a vacation without some fun touristy stops along the way, right? Branson knows fun, and we’ve picked the best stops to ensure you make the most of your moments together. Pro tip: jam out to our song choice in the car ride over to ensure maximum fun is had by all.
THE MomentIf fun is what you’re looking for, then a spring or summer stop at The Track Family Fun Parks is a must. Fun is their middle name—literally! We suggest an evening visit, starting with a dose of friendly competition around the go-kart tracks. Next, grab a concrete (our personal pick is the Snow Monster; add pecans) and go for a ride on the Ferris wheel for a magical view of Branson at dusk.
Fall means all things pumpkin , and Branson isn’t lacking in this department. Head to Silver Dollar City’s Harvest Festival and Pumpkins in the City to see thousands of glowing pumpkins with a hot apple cider and pumpkin funnel cake (yes, it’s a thing) in hand!
Winter still holds a special spot for a fun moment, too. If you’re willing to brave the chilly temps, a ride through the Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights is the perfect dose of nostalgia and Christmas cheer. Complimentary hot cocoa with peppermint is the best way to end the day.
THE SUNSET SIP MOMENT:
SONG: “ TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS” BY JOHN DENVER
Rounding out our list of top experiences in Branson is the best way to enjoy a beautiful Ozarks sunset. No matter the season, Branson has some of the most breathtaking sunset views around. We personally feel the best way to enjoy these stunning views is with a beverage in hand and some John Denver playing softly in the background.
Spring and summer sunsets are best observed from the top-floor rooftop restaurant and bar, Captain’s Quarters, located in Branson’s Nantucket hotel. Grab a Lake Water cocktail at the bar, step through the sliding doors onto the outdoor patio, grab a beautiful photo of the incredible view, and lounge in the comfy outdoor seating with the fireplace going for an optimal experience.
Fall and winter don’t fall short as the perfect place for a scenic sip, either. We’re fond of Capone’s Speakeasy in downtown Branson. With an outdoor patio complete with a fireplace and live music as well as a charming Roaring 20s vibe inside, Capone’s is a great place to relax and unwind with a drink in hand. Our favorite is the Bee’s Knees cocktail and a charcuterie board to share.
In Branson, we know that vacations are precious and that time passes in the blink of an eye. We’re here to help you make the most of the moments you get to experience and whom you share them with. If you follow our guide, you will leave Branson feeling completely fulfilled after a trip full of THE moments.

Growing Golf Destination
options, restaurants, wineries,
Five of Missouri’s Top 10 rated courses are in the destination, including the top four. Some of those are ranked among the country’s top 100 public courses.
One of Branson Golf’s most noteworthy aspects is Payne’s Valley, the only Tiger Woods-designed public course in America. It’s a stunning layout punctuated with an exclamation point that is its bonus 19th hole.
It’s as much geological wonder meets Disneyland attraction as it is a golf hole.
Ozarks National, Mountain Top, The Pointe, Thousand Hills,
Buffalo Ridge, LedgeStone, Top of the Rock, Branson Hills, Payne’s Valley, and Holiday Hills are all outstanding in their variety. The region’s golf haven is made all the more captivating thanks to the destination’s plethora of shows, family attractions and outdoor adventure.
While Tiger dominates with drama—as he did in his heyday—the courses are designed by Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Bob Cupp, Tom Fazio, Bill Coore, and Ben Crenshaw, among others. Combining first-class playing conditions and welcoming hospitality, five of these courses are certified by Audubon International for their environmental and conservation best practices.
