MAN is one of the oldest leading industrial enterprises in the German engineering industry. Since 1893 when the pioneering engineer Rudolph Diesel began developing the principles of the compression ignition combustion engine, MAN has been at the forefront of truck innovation and design.

The award winning TGX is one of the most technologically advanced trucks on the market.With a combination of high power, outstanding ride characteristics and a low tare weight, the TGX ticks all the boxes.

Adjustable for rake and reach. Steering wheel controls for cruise control, programmable speed limiter, electronic dashboard menu displays, plus controls for the stereo system and Bluetooth phone system.

Long life H7 globes ensure maximum night time visibility.

The TipMatic dial located conveniently close to all other driver controls, includes an ‘M’ setting which provides precise low speed manoeuvering. A stalk on the steering column allows the driver to shift from automatic to manual mode.

Comprising the latest in active and passive safety features the TGX includes a built-in crumple zone, advanced cabin ergonomics, disc brakes all round, Anti Lock Braking system (ABS) and MAN’s state of the art Electronic Brake System (EBS) which ensures a shorter emergency stopping distance. An Anti Skid Regulator (ASR) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) add to the TGX’s impressive safety credentials. Like all MAN’s the TGX offers class leading fuel economy, whilst a 12 speed TipMatic automated transmission features the most intuitive shift strategy on the market. Coupled with long service intervals of up to 90,000km*, it’s also a truck that’s designed for low ‘whole-of-life’ operating costs. All 6x6 and 8x8 models incorporate MAN’s ‘Easy-start’ function which holds the service brakes on hills for smoother pulling away. An off-road ABS switch provides improved braking performance when off road.

The TGS offers an extensive choice of chassis and driveline combinations.

The D26 is one of the newest, most technologically advanced truck engines on the market.

The ergonomically designed cabs focus on the driver down to the finest detail, combining safety with comfort and functionality. The user friendly instrument panel, multi-function steering wheel with integrated controls and a driver’s seat with numerous adjustment options, all combine to create a workspace that minimises stress and maximises productivity. All TGS prime mover models feature MAN Electronic Brake System (EBS) with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Anti Skid Regulator (ASR) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) as standard. MAN’s D26 common rail engine combines high power with outstanding fuel economy, coupled with low maintenance and a low tare weight. The engine block is built using Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) – stronger yet lighter than traditional material, which maximises torque per engine litre. MAN’s 4-bags per axle height sensing air suspension system is electronically controlled via an in-cab pad. With a 220mm travel height, the suspension can be raised and lowered easily to (un)couple trailers whilst providing an unrivalled ride and handling package in conjunction with excellent traction on uneven surfaces.

TGM’s 12 Speed TipMatic automated transmission is recognised as having the best shift strategy on the market. MAN’s D08 common rail engine offers superb low down torque coupled with outstanding fuel economy and equipment levels on a par with its big brother the D20/ D26. The TGM offers first-class performance in driver comfort, power, fuel efficiency and reliability. In keeping with MAN’s emphasis on safety, all on-highway models feature MAN Electronic Brake System (EBS) with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Anti Skid Regulator (ASR) and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) as standard (ASR / ESP under development for TGM 8x4 models). The TGM 4x4 model features a hill-climb brake control switch for holding the vehicle on steep inclines which also allows smooth pulling away without roll-back. An off-road ABS switch provides improved braking performance when off road. The TGM has value stamped all over it from its competitive purchase price through to class leading service intervals of up to 60,000kms*, lubricated for life hubs and one of the longest and most comprehensive warranties in the business. The TGM range offers an extensive selection of day, sleeper and crew cabs, high torque engines, drivelines and wheelbases to satisfy a wide cross section of requirements and applications.
