population with restaurants, saloons, and rental cabins. But before you end up tasting such divinity, explore the Pioneer Trails (the Oregon, Mormon, and Pony Express) by car, mountain bike, horseback, or wagon, and go where over 350,000 emigrants travelled between 1841 and 1866 on some of the most pristine and well preserved sections of Pioneer Trails in the state.

Atlantic City is the crossroads of the American West then and now: gold miners, emigrant trail pioneers, Indians, cowboys, soldiers, Pony Express riders, historians, Continental Divide Trail adventurers, and thousands of others have passed through this dirt-streeted town of five businesses and about 25 year-round residents. 48

The church in Lander, Wyoming would invite you to visit or settle in a beautiful western town of approximately 7,500 people at the base of the majestic Wind River Mountains. We offer a strong self-supporting church of Christ with approximately 60-65 members in regular attendance, a strong mission program and a full-time minister. Lander offers a local hospital and clinics for health care. Wyoming has no state income tax. We offer abundant outdoor opportunities for those who enjoy outdoor sports including trout streams, mountain lakes, winter sports and world class big game hunting.

“In Wyoming, a World-Class Burger and an Honest Butcher” I’ve always been interested in how the choices we make about food can affect others. But I didn’t think that eating a hamburger in Lander, Wyo., would change my notions about how these choices can impact entire communities....It happened to be one of the finest burgers I have ever eaten.
