GROSS NET Gross Net is the solo project of Philip Quinn, a Belfast-based artist who you may know as the former guitarist of post-punk band Girls Names. Gross Net’s debut album, ‘Gross Net Means Gross Net’, was released in 2019 and is something quite different to his past work: a dark, intense record infl uenced by political upheaval and experimental electronic music. management@grossnetmusic.com grossnetband.bandcamp.com

PAT DAM SMYTH Pat Dam Smyth is a Northern Irish songsmith, known for the candour and lyricism shown in his music. His songs have earned widespread comparisons with Pink Floyd and Nick Cave, possibly helped by the fact that Bad Seeds drummer Jim Sclavunos had a hand in the mixing and production of his most recent album, ‘The Last King’. Released last summer, ‘The Last King’ is infused with elements of history, hearkening back to the past of both Northern Ireland and Pat himself. david@liquidmanagement.net patdamsmyth.com

LILLA VARGEN Lilla Vargen (meaning ‘little wolf’ in Swedish) is a singer songwriter from Ballymena in Northern Ireland. Her stunning, soft voice won the hearts of fans across the UK with the release of her debut EP ‘Hold On’ in 2017, which earned her plays on BBC Radio 1. She gained further acclaim as the support act on Dermot Kennedy’s recent European tour. Her most recent EP ‘We Were Thunder’ was released in November. josh@futurekind.co.uk lillavargen.co.uk

THE WOOD BURNING SAVAGES The Wood Burning Savages are a four-piece band from Derry City in Northern Ireland, known for their political alt-punk music and incredible live shows. Their self-released debut album ‘Stability’ beat Snow Patrol and Bicep among others to win the Northern Irish Album of the Year at the NI Music Prize in 2018. The band have gone on to support the likes of Skinny Lister and Snow Patrol, and perform on the BBC Music Introducing Stage at Glastonbury Festival. peter@miradormusic.co.uk thewoodburningsavages.com

He’s known for his raw, emotive voice and his stunning lyricism and storytelling ability. He has supported the likes of NEEDTOBREATHE, Snow Patrol and Foy Vance. THURSDAY RYAN VAIL & ELMA ORKESTRA Ryan and Eoin are two distinct artists from Derry in Northern Ireland who decided to combine their talents and collaborate on an album. Eoin O’Callaghan is a producer, composer and multi- instrumentalist, and Ryan Vail is an electronic artist infl uenced by the likes of the XX, Nils Frahm and James Blake. Their record, ‘Borders’, nods to their love of their city and the importance they place on overcoming divisions, it won Album of the Year at the NI Music Prize 2019. david@liquidmanagement.net ryanvail.com / ameliarecords.com
