HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

A Single Malt to Share with Friends

At Eagle River Distillery, we are devoted to bringing the quality and pace of the past to the present. Our distillery is nestled on the banks of the Eagle River, a freestone river formed from the snowmelt of the Rocky Mountains. Steeped in tradition, distilled in the Scottish style with our pristine mountain water and 100% malted barley, this small batch whisky has been handcrafted for exceptional taste. Here, we celebrate all things slow. We celebrate the journey, as it both sweetens and complicates the destination. The artful turn through powder, a trout gently sipping from the surface of the river, the slow change of the seasons as they move from frost to midsummer to ice again. When we slow down to pay attention, the beauty of everyday life becomes impossible to miss.

We might be biast, but we happen to think our little mountain community in the heart of the Eagle River Valley is pretty special. We strive to elevate our community and share our love of the place we call home through our other passion, Really Good Whisky.

We look forward to having you in after a day on the mountain or after your first big catch, come as you are, there is nothing fancy here but the whisky.

Quality over Quantity - its a cliché, but At Eagle River Whisky, its what we live by. We honor the Scotch originators by crafting each bottle carefully and thoughtfully for the best Quality American Single Malt Whisky.

At the end of the day, it all starts and ends with our passion to create really good whisky. We’ve poured over every detail (pun intended) because we love it that much, and we hope to share that love with any and everyone who passes through our door.

Our whisky is crafted from high-alpine Colorado Snowmelt and barrel aged to perfection in small batches. We strive to embue every bottle with the feel and taste that only small-batch, handcrafted whisky can.

OUR VALUES

PRIMARY LOGO

The primary logo for Eagle River Whisky is a wordmark.

Whenever possible, this mark should be used across all branding collateral. This includes business cards, flyers, website and social media.

The X-height for the logo is the height of the letter E in the ERW Monogram.

SCALABLE DESIGN

The Eagle River Whisky brand system is designed to be scalable so that the brand looks good at any size or format.

SUB-MARKS AND ICONS

The submarks and icons can be used to replace both the primary logo and the wordmark if those logos do not work well with the format, are too small, or to add interest/clarification to the wordmark. The submarks and icons should never be used directly next to the primary logo.

The sub-marks and icons make excellent social media avatars and profile images, as well as favicons on websites.

In any brand, one of the most important elements is color. Keeping consistent, well-put-together color palettes can bring a brand to life.

The color palette for Eagle River Whisky reflects the Thoughtful , Warm , Old-world and Friendly vibe of the brand.

Consistent type and font usage is important in any brand. Please follow these guidelines to ensure the pieces you make are consistent with the brand.

IMAGES & TEXTURES

Because imagery will be an important part of the brand, it will be essential to keep the photos high quality and consistant.

Whenever possible try to use moody images of the whisky both with people and without . A variety of tight shots for the whisky and wide shots to show “pride of place” will create the intimate, storied feel for the brand. Do not use photos that have been tinted or put filters on any photos. A variety of indiviuals and families in a photos is preferred. Photography can be collaged, and paired with brand elements, but should always feel clean and elegant.

PHOTOGRAPHY

LOGO USAGE

Do not put any of the logos, in a color outside the brand palette. Do not use multiply colors within a full color logo. Full color logos should stick to tints and shades of a brand color. Do not tilt, squish or stretch the logos.
