Since its founding in 1988, BC/EFA has raised more than $225 million dollars for critically needed services for people with AIDS and other serious illnesses. In 2012, BC/EFA awarded more than $5.6 million to more than 450 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide. BC/EFA also is the major supporter of the social service programs at The Actors Fund, awarding more than $4.6 million in 2012 to support the work of the HIV/AIDS Initiative, The Dancers’ Resource, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic and more.
