CANDIDATES Want to be an LtG?

Plan Portland Rally and develop leadership skills

Be part of an amazing District Board and make lots of memories

Make lifelong friendships

The Division 42 Oregon and Division 42 Washington will be held from 12-2 pm at the Clatskanie Fultanos Pizza Shop on January 18th. Since your Lieutenant Governor is a tool for your club to use, please get as many members for your club as possible to the Election Rally to have input on voting. 2 voting delegates are allowed per club. Clatskanie was chosen as the location of the election rally so that as many Key Clubbers as possible from our Division can attend. Your Lieutenant Governor is an involved position within our division, so please attend this rally and encourage good leaders to run for this position. With the change in divisions this year, our clubs are getting stronger. So, let’s continue this and get an LtG that you want, who would be a good asset to your club.

DIV 42 LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR ELECTION RALLY

Please note that any Key Clubber in good standing with Key Club International (participates in community service and has turned in official dues) may run for Lieutenant Governor. This being said, there may only be 1 candidate from each school running at the Clatskanie election rally. It is great if more than one candidate is interested in running for LtG. In the event of more than one interested candidate from a club, there must be pre elections at the club level. The pre-elections can be held at a club meeting. In order to run as a candidate for LtG, you must complete the information packet, while understanding that being Lieutenant Governor is a big responsibility. Keep in mind school and afterschool workloads while considering becoming LtG. You can get the LtG packet by emailing me, Facebook messaging me, or calling/texting me. Any member is allowed to run, so don’t be timid about deciding to be a candidate. Being LtG is one of the best experiences you will have. Candidates must prepare a speech for the election rally about what has prepared you to become a successful LtG. There will be additional knowledge questions you may be asked during the rally. These can be found within the Candidates Packet.
