KEFALONIA
Once relatively unknown, Kefalonia was rocketed to International fame by the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin which was filmed almost entirely on the Island.
With its panoramic scenery, clear turquoise waters lapping white sandy beaches, many of which are blue flag for cleanliness and the famous Greek hospitality, Kefalonia delivers everything you could wish for.
Lourdas
A traditional little village set above the coastline and with its own beach. There are plenty of local amenities and beachside tavernas perfect for watching the sun set.
Skala
Skala is a picturesque village situated approx 40km(s) from Argostoli with a long sandy/shingle stretch of beach. Skala offers nightlife with an excellent choice of both traditional tavernas and smart restaurants, cafes and bars. An ideal holiday resort for families with an exceptional beach.
Katelios
Katelios, is located in the south of the island. This friendly, sleepy holiday destination grew up around a quiet fishing village and has developed over the years into a family-friendly, peaceful beach resort where the emphasis is on relaxation. Katelios has a selection of waterfront tavernas specialising in fresh seafood, shops, bars and a mini-markets can be found here too. A few kilometres from Katelios are Kaminia and Mounda beaches, both are famous as locations for nesting loggerhead turtles.
Spartia
Spartia is located on the south coast in a peaceful countryside location and is within easy reach of the airport. Spartia is a small village that still retains much of its original charm and character. The streets and alleyways are maze-like and were reputedly designed to confuse potential invading pirates in the past, but don’t worry, there are many well-positioned signs to guide you around past a few tavernas, to a nice sandy beach!

When to Go
Spring (May) and autumn (September-October) are our favourite times, being moderately warm (typically 20-30 celsius). Spring is great for wild flowers and lush landscapes; autumn for warm seas. Midsummer is great for the sun worshipper with hotter temperatures and lively resorts.
