Some of the best restaurants on the island can be found in the Port of Menorca, a pleasant evening can be spent here enjoying typical Balearic cuisine whilst watching the yachts and tall ships navigate into the spectacular harbour.

Culture and history abounds on this Island with many archaeological sites and ancient basilicas to visit. Also for animal lovers a night at the Club Escola Menorquina near Ferreries will offer the opportunity to see specially trained Andalucian horses perform in true Spanish tradition.

Punta Prima

Of the many outstanding beaches on the island of Menorca, Punta Prima possesses one of the very best. The gently shelving beach offers safe swimming and beautiful views over the bay. The best bars and restaurants are scattered along the beach road, but you will need a car if you want to venture out for more night life.

Santo Tomas

This small, laid-back resort town on Menorca’s south coast has much to recommend it, with the three-kilometre stretch of spotless, gently sloping sands along its beachfront being among them. Offering a smattering of quality restaurants and some pleasant, low-key nightlife, this is a great location for those looking to relax and take it easy.

Cala en Porter

Situated on the island’s southeast coast, Cala En Porter is a convenient 15-minute transfer from the airport and set along a beautiful, sheltered bay. This popular resort town is a great location for those who don’t want to hire a car during their villa holiday, as everything from nature walks and children’s play areas to shops and bars is on offer here.

Cala Galdana

On the south coast of Menorca close to the town of Ferreries, this is a bustling family resort. At the heart of the resort is a beautiful golden horseshoe beach surrounded by spectacular pine clad cliffs. The shops, bars and restaurants nestle around the bay and a car is not necessary to enjoy this beautiful resort. There are a wealth of activities on offer including boat trips, crazy golf, water sports, cycling and even a small water park for the kids to enjoy. For the more adventurous, walking paths can be found throughout the spectacular countryside.

Binibeca

Binibeca is a pretty coastal town in the south of Menorca. A great location for families, Binibeca boasts a soft and sandy Blue Flag Beach with safe, Mediterranean waters. The atmosphere in this resort is very relaxed and welcoming with plenty of restaurants, bars and markets.

When to Go

Menorca has the benefit of mild Mediterranean weather in spring and autumn with sizzling summers, but with a continuous breeze the weather is rarely too hot even in the height of summer. May, June and October make for a perfect time to visit with the sea still warm enough to swim in but the sun and heat being milder.
