While our landscape architectural practice is broad, we particularly enjoy residential design because of the opportunity to work one on one with clients. We frequently collaborate with artisans and craftspeople who create beautiful and functional design elements.

The best designs result from your active participation throughout the design and construction process. Each beautiful design starts with a site visit and a discussion of your contemplated improvements, overall desires for the use and appearance of your property, and your budget.

We prepare a site analysis, help you enhance unexpected parts of your property, consider ways to make your property environmentally friendly, and shepherd your project through to successful completion. We pay close attention to your budget and prepare cost estimates early in the design process.

We will help you create a program that includes items such as: new planting, improved entrance area, swimming pool, terrace, and trellis. Once we understand the site’s opportunities, constraints, and your wishes, we prepare and present conceptual design alternatives.

After choosing design elements from different alternatives, or selecting one of the concept plans, we prepare the final landscape plan. We select site appropriate materials and plants to bring your ideas to fruition.

We work with you to integrate your home and property into its surrounding landscape based on your home’s architectural style, your site’s topography, and your preferred site program.
