personal profile
I am an Argentinian designer. I have been passionate about design, art and architecture since I can remember. As soon as I finished my studies in my home country, I decided to face the challenge of studying a Master in Milan. That decision brought with it a new country, a new language and a new way of living. I try to live an aesthetic life, iterating among travels, books, nature, cooking and art, and trying to get new experiences all the time. Reading and travelling are two central aspects of my life. In every travel as well as each book I try to learn as much as I can. I let myself go guided by my curiosity. I like to think that I live in a continuous and endless path of discovery. Learning from every experience and being able to transfer that knowledge into my design activity is what I enjoy the most.
As a Designer, I put a strong sense of theoretical and conceptual content into my projects. My design process involves flexible methodologies coming from the Industrial Design and Service Design fields. The user experience is the foundation over which I build my design proposals. My communication skills stand because of my ability to transfer and re-frame concepts, as well as the efficient manipulation of a wide range of software tools. In terms of collaborative work, I most often become group-leader given my personality and intensive work level. I am constantly working in academic and professional environments with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams (engineers, architects, and different design backgrounds from different countries).

01. POLIMI LIBRARY concept + UX / UI design freelance project june 2016
This project proposes a redesign for the Library App offered by Politecnico di Milano. After using the app as part of my daily academic life, I identified several issues related to the usability and general experience offered. The kick off of this proposal is a new categorization of functionalities.

SEARCH The old searching engine has been replaced with a more intelligent platform that give suggestions based on you typing, as well as showing latest searches. The filters are now easily accessible for a deep configuration of the search.
EXPLORE The platform includes now a completely new functionality that allows users to navigate through the library offerings under specific filters such us Courses Taken or Themes that may be of interested. The Reader’s Status has now a visible and relevant position in the main menu, allowing users to easily access to the information about loans.
Under the Favorites category, not only books are displayed, but also courses that users are taking or topics lists that they may be following. It is simple to add an item into the Favorites category by simply clicking on the Heart icon.

02. TENSES concept + UX / UI design freelance project june 2015
If you don´t study another language, you miss a big part of the world. To learn a new language has become an essential need in a world with fewer frontiers every day. There are no doubts; some of the most difficult contents when you try to learn a new language are the different verbs tenses. In some languages, more tenses are more used than in others. Irregular verbs may become a headache for students.
service design & ux deisgn
CONCEPT TENSES was borne thanks to a personal need. While studying a new language, the access to the information about verbs tenses is not always easy and in many occasions, it is not complete. The idea was to provide the user with the full information about verbs in their different time forms in an accessible format.
RESEARCH The research efforts were focused in finding the right information for different languages, understanding how educational services work and creating a flow that improves user experience.

TYPOGRAPHY
TECHNICAL ASPECTS Through some field research, I realized that all the information regarding tenses is available online, so it is possible to develop a multi-platform system for tenses consultation into the most popular languages. Thus, students of English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and many other tongues would be able to reach decentralized data bases trough a unique multi-device tool: web site + mobile app.

03. DULLER-PARTNER Web design + UX / UI design freelance project December 2016
The brief was to re-design the current website of the Autrian based Engineering Studio Duller-Partners focusing on the proposal of a new information architecture.
service design & ux deisgn
CONCEPT The main idea was to cluster the original menus of navigation into a short number of categories that are easily understood and could be read in a logical sequence. Inside each of the new clusters, the previous information is still present with a complete new aspect and interaction.
website redesign
The site was designed to be responsive, and because of that the grid used for the user interface can be adapted to many devices.

04. MEGABUS Service re-design + UX / UI design Network & Services. PSSD. Politecnico di MIlano collaborative project - April 2016
We conducted an EFFICIENCY DRIVEN re-design process, trying to achieve the maximum results from the minimum resources. This premise is actually in line with what megabus do. In this way, we kept the essence of a very low cost service, improving the experience of the users through very precise and even small changes
service design & ux deisgn
RESEARCH The research process was conducted using different strategies. On-the-spot observations were used to understand boarding process, while user recording let us identify the interactions with the web site. Interviews with different stakeholders of the service gave us lots of insights about perceived service value and implementation

INSIGHTS “I don’t want to spend so much time to end up paying €1,50”
“I developed a strategy: whenever I find a €1 ticket, I buy it. Then if I use it or not, it’s not a big problem.”
“How is it possible that I am not on the list? I bought my ticket this morning.”
“What time does this bus arrive?”
“Where is the megabus stop? I didn’t find any sign.”

PROBLEMATIC AREAS The research results made us consider to focus on booking and boarding as the two main areas of action. We also found a moment in between that is not covered. We approached this situation with another touchpoint that we called “reminder”.
USER JOURNEY MAP RE-DESIGN
service design & ux deisgn
WEB APP We decide to redesign completely their main virtual touchpoint by transforming it into a Responsive platform. It could be able to run on desktop as well as mobile devices providing an accessible experience to users. The use of new graphic styles aims to achieve trustworthy of the service, a problem that emerged from the research process The redesign process was focused on evidencing the main values of the service: EFFICEINCY AND CONVINIENCE
PDF TICKET We moved from the current HTML information platform to what we call a RESPONSIVE PDF. With this ticket we are making more efficient the moment of boarding the bus. The driver, who is in charge of controlling passenger information, will be able to extract the essential data (in this case, the code and numbers that we highlighted) This ticket is not only visually clear compared to the original one, but also displays the right information according each user need.
REMINDER & DRIVERS’ LIST We introduced this new touchpoint to solve the disconnection between the purchase and the boarding moment. In this way, passengers will be reminded about specific data of their trip as well as informed about the location of the bus stop by using hyperlinks to a Maps platform. The Drivers’ Check-in List is an improvement behind the line of visibility for the user. Current boarding system relies on a piece of paper printed by the driver a few hours before departure, but in this way, people who buy the tickets before that won’t appear on the list.

How curious are you? Nowadays, curiosity is limited to the scope of our web browsing history. Algorithms have become the definers of our interests. Being exposed to diverse areas of knowledge is essential during the learning process. Ultimately, connecting these dots is what leads to new conclusions and sources of exploration.

EXPERIENCE CURIOSITY
CURIOSITY TUTOR Access to global knowledge is given for granted in this time. However, there are some challenges inherent to the way in which people is exposed to this knowledge. When assuming Learning as a long-life process, it is necessary to understand that most of the cognitive exploration through the Collective Intelligence will be self-managed. The concept of Curiosity Tutor refers to the guide that will ensure the absence of bias during this processes of exploration. At the same time, stimulating and engaging a methodological and conscious development of curiosity.
This selection of theoretical information and case studies are presented in a way that resembles the natural process of hyper-link navigation. Different paths have been suggested for the user to navigate in an assisted way though the complexity of the collective intelligence, guiding the curiosity in a process of discovery.
