“Rich” Biography
Inspiring artist Richard Nelson II, aka “Rich” was born on March 10th, 1990 at Baptist Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. As the middle child of both parents, Lynda and Richard Nelson, he has two siblings, an older brother named Bryant and younger brother named Jaylen. He was raised in Camden, South Carolina where sports are magnified and every young black boy wants to become a sports icon. Like the rest, he developed a great love for sports as well as having the dream of becoming a professional athlete in the NFL or NBA. Even though he has always liked music and knew every song on the radio word for word, his love for music was solidified the day he first saw the Notorious BIG featuring Puff Daddy and Mase “Mo Money, Mo Problems” music video. He then began to produce clever lyrics of his own influenced by rappers such as Jay-z, Tupac, Notorious BIG, and favorite rapper Mase. Before he knew it, he found stacks of composition notebooks and plenty Microsoft word documents on his computer filled with rhymes. After he failed to get much playing time in sports his middle school years, Rich’s dream to become a professional athlete was out the window and he decided he was going to be a hip/hop artist. After recording his first two original songs “our year” and “motivation” he received good feedback but still felt people were not taking his music 7
serious. With knowledge that Atlanta, Georiga is known to discover upcoming artist, Rich enrolled into Clark Atlanta University with only music on his mind. After performing at plenty talent showcases and winning the BET black college tour Rap Freestyle Battle, Rich decided it was time to release his debut mixtape “Now R Never” November 11th, 2010. The

Bio Being able to describe a true go getter describes Nate G’s. Born Nate Mason he was raised in the streets of Chester, PA. Even though he was raised by a Chris-

tian family, he still grew up around a bunch of hustlers and drug dealers. His uncle and cousin were notorious for being two of the largest drug dealers in the city of Chester. With his
family being affiliated with gangs and drugs, Nate had no other choice but to be affiliated with the streets. At age 11, he became gang affiliated with the ‘Fairground Killas’ (F.G.K). With him being affiliated with the FGK he got into several situations that almost ended his career as a rapper before it even begun. He was involved in several gang fights, got arrested a few times, and faced a couple of life threatening situations. If living the street life was not bad enough he suffered a major loss in his life, his grandmother Rosie. “My grandmother and I were real close. I remember a lot of good times that I spent with her. I miss her!!” If los11
ing your grandmother wasn’t bad enough, In March 2003 his cousin Rasheed ‘Bagh’ Ward died, and in November 2003 his Uncle Lamar ‘Dic’ Bishop died. Both his uncle and his cousin were murdered in the same year. To release some of his anger due to all the deaths that was happening in his life, he begun to write down his thoughts. His thoughts started to come together into poems. From his poems it started to turn into raps. Before he knew it he didn’t need to write down his poems to clear his mind. He could just speak his mind and they became into a lyrical masterpiece. With the street life being so tempting he
knew that he had to do one thing that his uncle asked him to do, graduate from High School. So in June of 2004 Nate graduated from Chester High School. “The day that I graduated from high school I knew that my uncle was looking down at me, pleased to see that I graduated.” After being through all of that: the drama, the losses, and graduating high school; he decided to put all the foolishness behind him and grow up.

Young, fun and full of...Music! DJ Such N Such is the hottest DJ mixing and making you move in the ATL! Born and raised in Atlanta, GA DJ Such N Such definitely has an ear for good sounds and a smooth swag that gets the crowd jumpin’. His high quality standards for good music a good time is no accident, such as it is. (Forgive me for the pun.) Though his talent isn’t accidental, his start may very well be consider a coincidental opportunity. “I use to dance before DJing. I was opening up for a comedy tour at the Detroit Fox Theater. The DJ didn’t show up and everyone started panicking; now I have never DJ’d up until this point, but I said I would do it if I was showed how to operate it. My boy showed me the basics and from there it was a go.” And a go it was, for the next 5 years DJ Such N Such (who got his name for playing any and everything he wants.) went on to create a successful start in the DJing business. He brings an eclectic direction to his music. “I play everything,” says Such. “I’ve been all over the nation with different artist and grew up around music, growing up I played 4 different musical instruments.” Because of his versatility and broad range of music, DJ Such N Such has proven capabilities to DJ at any club on any night. When asked who were his influences he replied, “ First and foremost my boy, the late DJ Patron. He will always be my top influence and inspiration in the game. (R.I.P DJ Patron.) I also look up to DJ Cowboy, DJ Maestro, and DJ Encore.” In 2001 DJ Such N Such and his group started EC4Y Entertainment (EyeCandie4ya Ent) a dance group and entertainment company. In October of 2009 Such released his first mixtape Say No Mo, It’s A Go VOL.1 and plans to release the second Vol January 2011. He DJ’s at Icon Lounge, Insomnia, Club Frequency, Scores, Candy Shop + many more and regularly now for the last 4 years at the Sportsline in Marietta,GA. Let’s talk about LOVE There has never been a word so misused, as this one word. We use it so easy, that the meaning has just gone to lust, it has taken something beautiful and made it common, and that’s not the way God intended for it to be. God gives us three kinds of love: Agape Love, Phileo Love, and Eros Love Agape Love is the highest form of love, this is the love demonstrated in John 3:19. This love is totally sacrificial and committed to the well beings of others. (Putting the other person first). This is the love that God intended for us, it’s the fruit of the spirit in Gal. 5:22 – Joy- is love enjoying Peace- is love resting Patience- (long suffering) is love waiting Kindness- is love reaching Goodness- is love choosing Faithfulness- is love keeping its word Gentleness- is love being able to empathize Self Control- is love being in charge (Dr. Charles Stanley) This kind of Love is not something we can work up on our
own, it makes you love your enemies, it helps you love someone regardless of their ugly ways, and it is an out flow of the Holy Spirit. That’s why until you know God for yourself and experience his love for you, and you learn to love yourself, you won’t be able to give love, you can’t give what you don’t have. Love can only come through Jesus Christ. Phileo Love- Brotherly kind of love Romans 12:10; Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love in honor preferring one another. Just showing respect and kindness to each other. Knowing that God has no respective of person, and that we are all equal in the eyes of God. Eros Love- is sensual sexual love. The world has tried to destroy and distort this love, and this seems to be the love that is written about, sung about, and acted out the most. God invented this love for the most intimate part of MARRIAGE between male and female. God shares his love for us in many ways, He created us, He allows us free will He keeps us Think about it, you couldn’t even think a thought if God didn’t allow it, New mercies every morning And he’s given us a place that we will live eternally So remember the next time you use the word LOVE, ask yourself, do you have it to give, and tell yourself it’s a
word of action, are you ready to act on it, and remind yourself that only through accepting Jesus Christ, we will be able to love. Merry Christmas, remember Jesus is the reason, show a stranger some love and kindness this season. Give a hug and a smile.

Poetry Love Love is something you must process in order to give. Love is something that must start in you in order for it to work through you to others. Love will change your heart , your will and your life. Love builds you up not tear you down, Love is a giver, not an abuse. Love will allow you to give your life for others.
