I. Opening Business A. Special Speaker: UPD Officer Mark 1. Dorms are treated as private residencies. You don’t have to let officers into your suite/room, but that might lead to deeper consequences (you may get kicked out of your residential hall). 2. If you are in a room while someone is partaking in illegal activity, you won’t necessarily get in trouble. However, you may be called in for student conduct because it is your job to report illegal activity. II. Old Business A. Follow us @BingCircleK 1. Twitter, Instagram & Facebook! Follow/like us! B. Add us on B-Engaged 1. This will take two minutes of your time & it will help our club a lot! C. Club Elections 1. Beginning of April - Date TBA D. Free Rice Competition 1. Join the New York District and combat world hunger! E. Dare 2 Eliminate 1. The dare fundraiser is still on! Support the Eliminate Project and send out some dares! III. New Business A. DCON 1. Do not give Jerry the money! You can either pay through Paypal online or send in a check. 2. There are 14 members definitely attending. 11 raised their hands for maybe. B. Easter Egg Hunt 1. We will table this for our next meeting. IV. Upcoming Events A. Divisional - Saturday, February 28th 1. 1:00 PM in UU202 2. There is no dress code. Wear pajama pants if you want to! B. Broome County Library - Tuesday, March 3rd 1. 4:00-6:30 PM at the Broome County Library 2. We will be reading to children books by Ezra Jack Keats C. Joint Event with O’Connor Hall - Saturday, March 7th 1. In house service project (TBD) a) Dog & cat toys - can use old t-shirts
b) No sew blanket D. Krispy Kreme Sale - Tuesday, March 10th to Wednesday, March 11th 1. 12:00-4:00 PM in the Tillman Lobby 2. We will be using the funds from our bake sale fundraiser to buy doughnuts and sell them! 3. You can sign up starting next Monday! E. Service Auction for Eliminate - Friday, March 13th 1. 6:00-8:00 PM in the Mandela Room 2. 9 people are auctioning off something. We’d like at least 15 members participating! 3. Anyone can auction themselves - Talk about our auction to other clubs, friends, etc! 4. Help us promote this event! F. District Convention (DCON) - Friday, March 20th to Sunday, March 22nd 1. If you have any more questions, check out the website: dcon.nycirclek.org G. Relay for Life - Friday, April 24th to Saturday, April 25th 1. Big fundraiser for the American Cancer Society 2. REGISTER FOR OUR TEAM! 3. Our club already has $450 raised. We are one of the top 5 teams! Keep donating! 4. Jenna suggested having club t-shirts H. Food Recovery Run (every other Wednesday) 1.
