Meeting minutes for September 20th, 2021 Call to order: 8:05 pm E-Board • Mary Liberty – President • Sarah Cerutti – Vice President • Sydney Hakimi – Treasurer • Kelly Huynh – Secretary • Evie Shillinglaw – Webmaster • Danielle Petzold – Editor District Large Scale Service Project • CKI clubs from across the state get together for a few days and volunteer together at large service projects organized by the district VINES Picnic Volunteers • Circle K helped with the Merchandise Table and Parking • Proceeds from the event went back to VINES! Upcoming Events • Family Weekend o Circle K has been asked to help both stuff bags as well as help at the actual events • Bag stuffing/Getting Ready – Sept. 13th-23rd UUW208H • Family Weekend – Sept. 24th-26th • Select few spots still open for both events Roberson Museum Mailings • Tues. Sept. 21st – Fri. 24th 9am-1pm • Compiling mailings to be sent out to the community • Thanks to those who signed up! Please talk to Mary if you would still like to help TechWorks! • Helping in the museum with whatever Susan needs help with • Sunday Sept. 26th 2-5pm • Deadline to register is Friday at 11:59pm Food Bank of the Southern Tier • Tues. Broome County Library Scanning & Sorting Books • Saturday 10/2 9am-11am • Deadline to register is 9/29 • Sign-ups coming after meeting! 13th Annual Miles for Matias (Collab with APO) • Saturday 10/9 • All $ raised will go towards finding a cure for MS • Stop by the Peace Quad for free food and raffle tickets • Last day to purchase a shirt: TODAY RAMP-It-Up with Kiwanis • Cancelled! Dues • If you would like to become an official member of Circle K International, there is a small yearly fee, also known as dues • $12.00 for the entire year • Insurance at CKI events • Official member of CKI • ID card, pins, etc. • We will be collecting dues now through mid-November! Please see Sydney after the meeting to pay Committee Chair Applications • We still have committee chair positions open (for new and returning members!) • Great way to grow your involvement with the club • Positions include: Gov.
