K-MINUTE SUMMER EDITION

SECRETARY TINA LEE | BINGHAMTON CIRCLE•K | NEW YORK DISTRICT CIRCLE•K

HEY BINGHAMTON CIRCLE-K,

I hope everyone is enjoying their summers, and looking forward to returning to Binghamton in the fall. While for most, summer consists of relaxing by the beach, pool, or a Netflix-streaming device, don't forget about all the service opportunities that exist in your local community. There are a lot of opportunities to help organize and volunteer at local Kiwanis, Key Club, or other K-Family events, if a club is near you. You can also check out a local food bank or animal shelter that may be in need of some volunteers for the summer. Also, don't forget that if you do volunteer at another K-Family event (such as Kiwanis or Key Club events) be sure to let us know so we can log it as K-Family hours. Most importantly, don't forget to have fun! I'm excited to see you all in the fall at our first meeting and GIM of the semester.
