If you’ve been to an event, please let us know about your experience and have it be published in our newsletter. ii. You can submit them to our editor Jenna Spak. Her email is jspak2@binghamton.edu iii. You can get a raffle ticket for every article you write. And end of the year, you can win prizes for them c. New Member Social i. It was a lot of fun. We played a bunch of games ii. Thank you everyone who came d. Apple Fest i. We went to Endicott and helped our Kiwanis sell raffle ticket ii. When we left, they had raised around $300 e. Bake Sale i. f. Rescue Mission i. It was a lot of fun IV) New Business a. DLSSP i. Leave Friday, September 25th ii. Clubs from all over NY come together to do a large service project at Kamp Kiwanis and help the camp get ready for the winter iii. Come back on Sunday b. Riverbank Cleanup i. Saturday, October 3rd from 9am-12am ii. On Front Street iii. We will be helping clean the river bank iv. If we have a lot of people, we will be taking a bus (Westside)

c. Breast Cancer Walk i. Sunday, October 4th at 10am ii. Signups will be in the email iii. There are various thing you can help out with 1.Giving out water, directing people, etc. d. Community Opportunities Fair i. Thursday, October 8th form 12-4PM ii. We will be tabling to help spread the word about our club and our mission iii. Come visit us and check out other clubs around campus e. Hawloween at the Zoo i. Saturday, October 10th at 9:30-1:30PM ii. We will be helping with Halloween themed games 1.Pirate ring toss, pumpkin bowling and more! iii. We only have 5 spots so register ASAP! 1.We can have 10 people and do two 2 hour shifts f. Boo at the Zoo i. Friday, October 16th from 4:30-9:30PM ii. We will be dressing up and scaring visitors at the zoo at various stations 1.Scarecrows (1 spot available) a. Wear flannel shirt and they have hay and burlap sack 2.Dot Room (spots are full) a. Wear all back and scare people walking through the room 3.Execution scene (2 spots available) a. Act out a scene in gas chamber b. Dress as a prisoner c. Get fake blood g. Trick-or-canning i. Friday, October 23rd ii. Go trick-or-treating for canned goods iii. Donate everything to the food bank iv. Time TBA v. That night we will have a Halloween social vi. Neighborhood behind Target h. Habitat for Humanity is doing a “Shack-a-thon” i. Someone sits in the shack at all times ii. Win a prize at the end
