K Meeting Minutes 2_11_19 Called to Order: 8:06 Opening Remarks: o Hello! • Welcome back to another general body meeting of Circle K • Please add us on social media and like us on b-engaged! o T-shirts • Make sure to pick up your t-shirt if you haven’t done so already! • Didn’t order a shirt? ▪ We have extra shirts from past years for sale! o E-board and Committee Chair positions! • Would you like to take a more active role in our club? • Make sure to take look at all the expectations for each position • Elections will be held in March for the ’19-’20 academic year ▪ Don’t worry you will be trained so that you will make sure that you are comfortable with your responsibilities. ▪ The new eboard will take over on April 1s Past Events: • K-Family Pasta Dinner
o Thank you to all who attended! o Trivia was a great time and the pasta was delicious (especially those meatballs) o It was the first time that we had a K-family event and it was a MAJOR SUCCESS! o A special shout out to Catherine for organizing the event and to those who help drive other members! Upcoming Events: • Freeze Out 5K o February 22nd o 6pm o Hyland Park in Endicott o Thank you to all who have signed up to volunteer! ▪ Unfortunately, there are no more volunteer spots open, but feel free to bundle up and run for a great cause!! ▪ The race only costs $20 for college students • PLUS, you get a t-shirt and a medal • DCON o March 22-24 (it’s kinda the last weekend at the end of the spring break) o Albany
o This is our last district event for the academic year! o This event is great for those who want to apply to e-board next year! •
1st Bake Sale of the Semester o February 25th o 12-4pm o Tillman Lobby o Please sign up to either table or help bake! o We still need people to help out from 12-1pm and 3-4pm
