Circle K International (CKI) promotes service, leadership, and fellowship with over 12,600 members worldwide. o What do we do? § We organize events and fundraisers to give back to our campus, community, nation and even the world. • Old Business o Our Space Project § Helped round out the boards that were used to create parts of the playground § We helped build this playground for children with special needs o Relay for Life § We raised over $2,800 last semester § We were one of the top raising teams § We had a table where you could go mini bowling at the event o Talent show for Eliminate § International Project § Project Eliminate aims to provide vaccines to women and babies abroad to prevent the contraction of maternal/ neonatal tetanus o End of the year social § The changing of the e-board from previous year to the upcoming academic years board § Wrap up events for the year § Hand out awards § We had ice cream! o K-Family Picnic § Our newest committee, K-Family Relations, held an event this summer at Eisenhower park § Goal is to maintain a relationship between all branches of the K-Family: builders club, key club, circle k, and Kiwanis § Take a bite out of Lyme challenge, we all bit a lime to show support for those affected by Lyme disease § We raised over $500 to donate • New Business o Day of Caring § September 9th


§ Residential home of the handicapped children’s association § Staining project o DLSSP (District Large Scale Service Project) § At Kamp Kiwanis in Taberg, New York § CKI clubs from across the state will gather for a weekend of service together o Apple Fest § Street Fair in downtown Binghamton filled with booths, stores, and food § We will be tabling with the Kiwanis of Endicott-Vestal-Endwell o Helping Chinsta § Shoeless walkathon § Goal is to raise money for shoes for children in Chinsta South Africa § Contact Courtney (caronic1@binghamton.edu) if you want to participate ($10 to participate) o Bake Sale § We hold a bake sale each month § The proceeds collected either go towards our club or towards a foundation/organization of our choice § If you have any ideas of organization, you would like the money raised to be donated to contact us with your ideas! o Dues § $12 to be an official CKI member § This provides you insurance at any CKI events § You will get an ID Card, Pin, and a T-Shirt! • Closing Business o Icebreaker with Kester § Candy Questions • If you could be any animal what animal would you be? o Jerry said he would be a dog (check out the last page) o Service Project with Christina § Made cards for 9/11 service officers that experienced and aided during • Meeting Adjourned 8:55PM
