Most of us will be struggling with coping at times during the current situation. Experiencing change and uncertainty as well a worrying about our family and friends and our own health. However, as well as keeping physically healthy it’s important to keep mentally healthy as well. Too much anxiety can make us mentally and physically unwell and it’s important to get the support you need, even when in isolation or when medical access is difficult. Here are some resources that you may find very helpful if your anxiety levels are getting too high or your feeling scared or alone: The NHS have 10 tips to help if you are worried about coronavirus, just search ‘NHS Covid-19 anxiety tips’. The University Counselling is also still available, to get in touch with them please email counselling@bucks.ac.uk. The Big White Wall offers 24/7 online emotional support. This support is completely anonymous, and can help with community support, resources and professional help. This service is free to all students at Bucks: bigwhitewall.com. We in the SU Advice Centre are all here for you. So if you need any advice just send us an email, suadvice@bucks.ac.uk with information about your issue and a contact telephone number or complete the form here: bucksstudentsunion.org/ advicecentreenquiry and we will contact you as soon as possible, normally within 24 hours during the working week.
