The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses has conferred the goldlevel Beacon Award for Excellence to both of ECMC’s MICU units making ECMC one of only two Level 1 Trauma Centers in the state with more than one Gold Beacon Award for Excellence units; one of seven hospitals in the state with more than one Gold Beacon unit; and the only hospital in WNY with more than one Gold Beacon unit. This is a tremendous accomplishment and further evidence of ECMC’s national best-in-class patient care that we are known for throughout our community.

What’s your favorite season?

My favorite go to wing joint is Bar Bill Tavern and favorite wings are Cajun Honey Butter barbecue. Flats of course! My favorite gelato flavors are cioccolato fondente and pistachio.
