The gallery is interested in a large and diverse variety of artistic media, including performance, installations, poetry, and film, in addition to traditional formats.

With one of the top modern/ contemporary collections in the world, the Albright-Knox continues to deliver exciting exhibitions and programming, as well as an extensive public art mission. The museum is now planning an exciting expansion of its facilities, and will close its facility for construction starting November 4, 2019. Albright-Knox Northland, a new project space at 612 Northland Avenue, opens on January 16, 2020. The new Buffalo AKG Art Museum is scheduled to open as early as 2022.

It is surrounded by lovely and historic Lockport neighborhood and has attractive gardens. Once a year, the Kenan presents a juried craft show and sale.

Meibohm Fine Arts 478 Main St., East Aurora, meibohmfinearts.com, 652-0940 This family-run art gallery has lasted for 115 years, and is known for its knowledgeable focus on historic regional artists. There is also an excellent framing department.

Niagara Arts and Cultural Center 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, thenacc.org, 282-7530 There are two galleries in this large cultural center, formerly a high school. Both hold regular exhibitions and events; the center also supports local artists by providing studio space. Genres include sculpture, painting, photography, multimedia, and many

artisanal formats. There are also regular shows of Native American art.
