New Porterville Foctory

The new plant of the Walled Lake Door Company, southwest of Porterville, Calif., is near completion with installation of equipment in June. President George R. Quinif, who has arrived there for residence, said company officials chose to reside in Porterville in line with plans to make that plant largest of the three it operates; others are in Michigan and Alabama.

The factory will manufacture doors from white fir.

H. G. "Toby" Hunter, who joined the Pacific Coast Lumber Company at Santa Barbara in 1948 and worked up to assistant manager, has recently been promoted to assistant treasurer of the line yard concern and moved to the main offices in San Luis Cbispo, Calif.
