and I lived in the UK, I was never too fond of February. The excitement of the entertaining season was well over, and the month seemed to struggle to shake off the last of the gloomy afternoons and winter weather. Cue a hemisphere switch and February has virtually the opposite effect on me. I love it as a time of change – the next school year, a

return to work and the sense of a new start. In that spirit, we’re sharing all sorts of ways to press refresh, indoors and out, from making your home easy clean and overhauling your garage, to fixing up the lawn and tackling weeds. There’s room for some me-time too, so we also look at transforming your shower into a spa-worthy retreat.
