Dear Volunteers, Spring is just around the corner! Although this marks nearly one year since our programming drastically changed, you’ve continued to make a considerable impact on the Burbank community. We’ve had a few new and exciting developments with BVP over the last two months. Our Phone Pals program has taken off and continues to be a success. Thank you to all of the volunteers who have helped us get this program off the ground. Many of our youth volunteers have asked for opportunities to accrue time towards their community service requirement for school. We heard your requests and are happy to announce the launch of our Letters to Seniors program, where anyone can volunteer from home all while making a difference in a local senior’s life (see page 5 for details). We’re also excited to share that the Burbank Public Library is now recruiting volunteers to assist with their Home Borrowers program. Check out page 3 for an update on the library and for more information on how to get involved. Also, be on the lookout for information on how you can volunteer for our Burbank Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt! Even if you can’t volunteer, we hope that you and your families can join us for the hunt. It’s going to be a lot of fun! As always, thank you all so much for continuing to dedicate your time to helping those who need it most. Lacey and I wish you and your families’ good health with the start of the season! Best, The BVP Team Marcus & Lacey
