What's Hoppin'...

... in BVP?

On Saturday, March 31st, 2018 the Joslyn Adult Center and Burbank Volunteer Program join forces to host the annual Spring Egg-stravaganza at McCambridge Park! This is a community event full of fun for the whole family to enjoy. This event is impossible without the assistance of our amazing BVP volunteers... And we're looking for our BVP Volunteers to help us out again! We need 20 energized volunteers to help in the information booth, run games, supervise the bounce houses, and ensure that all participants are having a hoppin' good time! If you or someone you know is looking for a fun experience in giving back to the community, this event is surely for them!

Don't miss this one! Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. The volunteer shift is from 8:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. Please contact Elisa Accardi at 818-238-5370 or eaccardi@burbankca.gov for more information or to sign up!

Looking to get more involved? The Burbank Volunteer Program Advisory Board is looking for two additional members to complete their board. As the BVP program continues to grow and more young community members are getting involved, its time for you to tell us what you are looking for in volunteerism. The current opportunities are open to one high school student and one college student to work cohesively with the current advisory board and BVP staff. If you are interested, please submit a one page letter to the BVP Advisory Board discussing your volunteer experience and why you are interested in this opportunity. For any additional information, please contact the BVP office at 818-238-5370.
