SENIOR ACTIVITY CARD 2019 BSAC cards are available at the Joslyn Center for $20 (Burbank residents) and $25 (non-residents). Cardholders receive discounts on programs/classes at select Burbank businesses, and more. Individuals may request a free Activity Card (“AC”) to allow access to our activities, however, they will be required to pay full price for each program/class.

LIFE CARE PLANNING: ADVANCE DIRECTIVES When: 2nd Friday of each month I 12:30pm Cost: $2 (free with BSAC card) Learn how to complete an Advance Directive for health care and other pertinent forms pertaining to health care wishes. Documents will be provided free of charge. All of its members are juried into the organization twice a year by a three-member panel of judges. TOAA gives its artists opportunities to exhibit their work and exchange professional information, participate in critiques, attend workshops and lectures, participate in air experiences, and attend field trips to museums and other places of artistic interest.

The Fine Arts Federation (FAF) is a non-profit organization who supports arts within the community and is a valued supporter of the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center. The FAF helps support the Annual Youth Art Expo, Art Experiences Camp, and art classes and workshops held at the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center. Membership includes announcements for monthly gallery shows, the opportunity to participate in the annual membership show, and the opportunity to participate in the annual holiday boutique. This 98 seat, state-of-the-art theater offers seats that are never more than 30 feet from the stage. Since 2005, the Grove Theater has garnered 9 L.A. The DeBell Golf Club is an 18-hole facility which features 5,608 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 68.9 and it has a slope rating of 122 on Kikuyu grass. DeBell Golf Club also offers four clubs to be a part of: The Burbank Men’s Golf Club, The Burbank Senior Men’s Club, The Burbank Women’s Club, and The Lady Duffers. For more information on these clubs please contact the Pro Shop for details. This club offers a regulation 18-hole course and a Par-3 course. The regulation course is very tight and hilly making it challenging for the more seasoned golfer yet still enjoyable for the beginners. Our Junior Academy is the perfect place to increase your juniors abilities quickly. The Stough Canyon Nature Center, nestled in the Verdugo Mountains, has an exhibit hall with educational and interpretive displays, small library, classroom and outdoor amphitheatre. Hiking trails start from the Center. Free maps and information on trails and local habitats are provided.

All class registration will only be accepted through the second class meeting and all original class fees will apply. Non-Resident fees apply to those living outside of the City of Burbank. Non-Residents must include an additional $10 per person, per class. Enrollment is subject to availability. Programs are filled on a first come, first served basis. All programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. Class schedules may be subject to change without notice. For the most up-to-date information, please visit www.burbankparks.com. Guests of Enrolled Participants: Permitting classroom visits are at the discretion of the Instructor who has the responsibility to protect the learning environment and develop rules and procedures to maintain a safe classroom setting. Classroom visits are arranged directly with the Instructor under any rules that the Instructor may establish.
REFUND / TRANSFER POLICY The City of Burbank strives to provide quality recreation classes and programs. If you are unable to attend or are not satisfied with a class, we will be happy to arrange a transfer to another class (if space is available and is prior to the second class) or process a refund if the following guidelines are met: • •

A $10 processing fee will be deducted from all participant initiated refund requests. Class lasting 3 or more weeks - A request for refund/ transfer must be given to registration staff a minimum of one business day prior to the second class meeting. No refund/transfer will be issued after the second class meeting. Class or workshop lasting 2 or fewer weeks - A request for refund/transfer must be given to registration staff a minimum of five business days prior to the scheduled start date of the class or workshop. No refund/transfer will be issued after this date. Material/Supply fees are non-refundable.
