Staff will continue to work closely with State and local officials and follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. The re-opening of parks and facilities will occur in phases and requires physical distancing and infection control practices. The City has adopted a framework of thoughtful best practices and policies to safely resume full operations in a phased approach that best serves the community. NEW FACILITY OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES: Protecting and supporting staff and customer health Staff has been trained on enhanced precautions and safety measures. Protective equipment will be utilized by staff and throughout the facility to minimize risk. Handwashing and regular disinfecting Enhanced healthy hygeine, cleaning and sanitation standards are adopted to ensure proper infection control. Physical Distancing Occupancy is limited in accordance to health/safety guidance. Distancing markers are placed to guide in physical distancing requirements. Posted Signage Signage is posted to communicate protocols; please adhere to all posted signage. Ensuring Equitable Access to Services Access to critical services is prioritized.

The Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center offers a pottery studio, classroom and art gallery. Programs at the center include a variety of art classes for both children and adults in the visual arts. Art Gallery shows have been postponed to the fall. Please check the website for new dates.

The Fine Arts Federation (FAF) is a non-profit organization who supports arts within the community and is a valued supporter of the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center. The FAF helps support the Annual Youth Art Expo, Art Experiences Camp, and art classes and workshops held at the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center. Membership includes announcements for monthly gallery shows, the opportunity to participate in the annual membership show, and the opportunity to participate in the annual holiday boutique. Membership dues are $25 for individuals, $20 for seniors, and are valid for one calendar year.

Burbank Bus Senior & Disabled Transit provides transportation service to residents age 60 or over or disabled (with doctorâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s certification). PROJECT HOPE

Currently Open for Enrollment Project Hope is a free program that pairs volunteers with Burbank Residents ages 60+ to assist with: over-the-phone companionship, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, dropping off items at the post office, and fulfilling other essential errands individuals may need completed on their behalf. The DeBell Golf Club is an 18-hole facility which features 5,608 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 68.9 and it has a slope rating of 122 on Kikuyu grass. DeBell Golf Club also offers four clubs to be a part of: The Burbank Men’s Golf Club, The Burbank Senior Men’s Club, The Burbank Women’s Club, and The Lady Duffers. For more information on these clubs please contact the Pro Shop for details. This club offers a regulation 18-hole course and a Par-3 course. The regulation course is very tight and hilly making it challenging for the more seasoned golfer yet still enjoyable for the beginners. Reservations can be made up to seven days in advance by calling 818.845.0022.

With over 20 years of teaching experience he will cause you to fall in love with the sport and have fun learning the game.

STOUGH CANYON AND WILDWOOD CANYON HIKING TRAILS Wildwood Canyon and Stough Canyon hiking trails re-opened on Friday, May 8th. The Verdugo Mountainway is an extensive trail system which extends from the Sun Valley area, south to Brand Park in Glendale, and northeast to Tujunga and LaCrescenta. Please adhere to posted signage and follow safety guidelines. Trail users over two years old will be required to wear face coverings at trailheads, in parking lots, and at destination points along trails. All class registration will only be accepted through the second class meeting and all original class fees will apply. Non-Resident fees apply to those living outside of the City of Burbank. Non-Residents must include an additional $10 per person, per class. Enrollment is subject to availability. Programs are filled on a first come, first served basis. All programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. Class schedules may be subject to change without notice. Guests of Enrolled Participants: Permitting classroom visits are at the discretion of the Instructor who has the responsibility to protect the learning environment and develop rules and procedures to maintain a safe classroom setting. A $10 processing fee will be deducted from all participant initiated refund requests. Class lasting 3 or more weeks - A request for refund/ transfer must be given to registration staff a minimum of one business day prior to the second class meeting. Class or workshop lasting 2 or fewer weeks - A request for refund/transfer must be given to registration staff a minimum of five business days prior to the scheduled start date of the class or workshop. No refund/transfer will be issued after this date. Material/Supply fees are non-refundable.

CLASS REGISTRATION INFORMATION In order to continue to facilitate a safe and secure environment with our communityâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s health and well-being as the top priority, Parks and Recreation staff may institute certain policies and procedures with social and physical distancing in mind. As a result, class offerings, times, capacities, offerings, and other programming may operate in a reduced or limited capacity. As this situation has been ever evolving, staff will do its best to communicate changes in a timely and effective manner. We understand the inconvenience this may place on some; however, the safety of our community is the utmost priority. Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation.

COVID-19 OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES 1 Facilities will remain limited to the public, only staff and participants in Parks and Recreation programming will be admitted. 2 All persons must bring a face covering to recreation facilities. Face coverings are used when physical distancing is difficult to maintain. Face coverings are to be worn by all persons over the age of 2. Children between the age of 2 - 8 should use a cloth face covering with adult supervision. Remove any face coverings if you experience breathing difficulties. 3 Physical distancing markers will demonstrate appropriate distance between participants and instructors. 4 Participants must leave the facility immediately after conclusion of the class session or business.
