SUMMER DAZE & TEEN SUMMER DAZE PRE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION

What is Pre-Registration? Pre-Registration is an item that will be used as a participant's Emergency Form. The item includes vital information for camp to have on file as well as all necessary waivers. Do I need to register in the Pre-Registration item? Yes, if it is not done ahead of time you will need to do it on the day of registration. Does Pre-Registration guarantee me a spot in camp? No, Pre-Registration does not guarantee a spot in camp. The benefit to doing it ahead of time is that you will not need to submit all the information on the day of registration. Do I need to make a payment on the day of Registration? Yes, if registering for Session 1 you will be charged in full. Sessions 2-11 will require a $50 deposit if you do not choose to pay in full. A credit card will be required to be kept on file for future payments. Can I change the credit card I put on file? Yes, you can go to your profile and add the new card. Once it is added you will need to email summerdaze@burbankca.gov, to have them remove the previous card. Can I edit information I entered during Pre-Registration for my child(ren)'s Emergency Form? We ask that you be thorough when filling out the information during Pre-Registration, however changes can be made by emailing summerdaze@burbankca.gov.

BREAKTHROUGH SPORTS | SPORTS CAMP ALL SPORTS AND SPORTS-SPECIFIC CAMPS FOR CHILDREN AGES 5 - 14 YEARS OLD The All Sports Camp features a different sport each day (baseball, basketball, flag football soccer and volleyball) followed by structured swim lessons and in-water aquatics in the afternoon at McCambridge Pool. *Swim lessons and in-water activities are conducted by certified swim instructors. Four Sports-Specific Camps are offered for baseball, basketball, football, and volleyball, over 9 session.

Art camps feature dancing, song writing, music production, acting and more! Grammy-winning song producer/writer, Corron Cole, will teach participants how to put together lyrics for a song from verse to hook while being able to produce that song. Hip Hop Dance Instructor, Joe Chaplin, will teach technique, timing and musicality while learning brand-new dances. Participants will wrap up the week by taking acting classes to develop their acting skills.

Spend the afternoons experiencing a variety of expressive activities designed to release stress as well as nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Kids will play in mini tournaments, have interactive lessons and play cool chess variants like bug house. THE BUSINESS OF SHOW BUSINESS FOR CHILDREN AGES 12 - 14 YEARS OLD

Get back to business! Not only are we going back to school, but it's time to get back to auditioning and content creating. Take this weeklong summer camp that brushes up your skills, and teaches the business basics of auditioning for stage, TV and film. We'll focus on acting and dance techniques to prepare for commercial, theatrical and cinematic opportunities as well as basic tools (headshots, onscreen and onstage etiquette, self-tapes, navigating representation and online presence) every young performer needs. Get ready to be a professional in the industry while learning the skills to confidently be yourself creatively and in the audition room! Former experience is not required.

PACIFIC SKATE SCHOOL SKATEBOARD CAMP FOR CHILDREN AGES 6 - 12 YEARS OLD

A week of outdoor education, athletics and creativity centered around skateboarding. All Levels of Skater: Intro - Beginner - Intermediate. Program follows Color Level Goals, ABC Skate Philosophy and Skate Dollars for prizes. Students will learn how to skateboard safely, correctly and respectfully. Specialty skate activities include art, building, parkour, photography and yoga. Skateboard, Helmet & Pads Required.

STOUGH CANYON NATURE EXPERIENCES CAMP FOR CHILDREN AGES 6 - 10 YEARS OLD Camp is held at the Stough Canyon Nature Center where campers will be introduced to a variety of topics with nature and the environment as the main theme. Campers will leave with knowledge on hike safety and an understanding of the Verdugo Mountains.

Each day, campers will learn something new about the trail and work on a related craft and/or activity in the classroom.

CAMP REFUND POLICY All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing by completing the Sports & Specialty Camp Refund Request Form. Refund Forms may be submitted directly to the Camp Director in person or via email. Forms can be obtained at each camp location or online at www.burbankca.gov/camps. A refund will be issued when request is received at least 10 business days prior to the start of the week enrolled. No refunds will be issued after this time regardless of the reason of non-attendance. For each week refunded, a $10 refund fee per child, per week is withheld regardless of reason for refund. A refund will not be issued for days missed in a week and there are no make-up days. Sports and Specialty Camp fees are non-transferable and may not be applied toward another camp, session balance, class, or program. Any refund of camp fees may take up to one week after notification to be processed. After a refund has been issued, credit card refunds may take up to seven business days depending on your credit card company/bank.
