Last month, on the 19th, three of our lovely members and Dr. English attended a Presidential Council Meeting (PCM) held by the Lieutenant Governors of Division 1. Key Clubbers took part in some fun service such as packaging over 200 sack lunches, reorganizing the food pantry, and serving food at Salvation Army. They also learned about service projects from around the area and bonded with fellow Key Clubbers. After serving & bonding at Salvation Army, members went to grab lunch at Jake’s Burgers for more fun. Our members and Dr. English had a great time eating, bonding, and serving with fellow Key Clubbers and hope that more of our members will attend next time!

On the 25th, Key Clubbers met their fellow Kiwaninian counterparts and had tons of K-Family bonding. There was lots of food & fun to enjoy at this joyous occasion. Our Secretary, Skyelar Armstrong, who was in attendence said, “It was refreshing to be able to catch up with the Kiwanians. They really felt like family. I enjoyed being in their company and really wish more of our members had shown up to enjoy some quality time with Kiwanis.” All in all, the social was a success even though very few Key Clubbers were in attendence. Hopefully in the future there will be more K-Family Socials and fun to be held!

Kiwanis Meetings Kiwanians warmly welcomed Key Clubbers at the Kiwanis meetings this month. Key Clubbers got the chance to expirence how Kiwanis runs their meetings and got to contribute to the meetings by giving out ideas on fundraising & service. Treasurer, Nithure Rema after the meetings said, “I’m jealous of how close the members of Kiwanis are. They greet everyone warmly at every meeting and are just super close to one another in general. One day I hope our club will be like that too!“ Other members of Key Club are more than welcome to attend the next few meetings they can during their summer vacation!

Member’s wish gets heard
On the 20th, member Vanessa Casteñeda tweeted out her jealousy towards the New Jersey District Key Club about how they held a K-Family Picnic. She was then contacted by the Governor of the great T-O District, Kaitlyn Wilson, about having a picnic at the next PCM. Our Lieutenant Governor, An Bui, also reached out to Vanessa about the picnic. Both said the picnic was very possible. No details have been confirmed about the picnic, but Goddess, Kaitlyn Wilson did say she would come!
