Dragi čitaoci,

Dear readers,

Letnji broj otvaramo temom o tradicionalnom festivalu vina Fête de Vingerons koji se održava još od 1797. godine. Organizacioni odbor festivala može slobodno da bira koliko često će se festival održavati, ali maksimalno pet puta u jednom veku. U proseku svakih 20 godina ljubitelji vina imaju priliku da vide ovaj jedinstveni događaj. Iskoristite priliku.

This summer issue opens with a story about a traditional wine festival, Fête de Vingerons, which has been held since 1797. The organising committee of this festival is free to choose how often the festival will be held, but at most it may be five times in a century. So, averagely speaking, wine lovers have the opportunity to witness this unique event every 20 years. Therefore, do not miss this opportunity.

Kao temu broja izdvajamo priču o Islas Sekas (Suva ostrva), arhipelagu u zalivu Čiriki na pacifičkoj obali Paname. Ovaj eko-rizort smešten je u svom prirodnom okruženju, između pacifičke obale provincije Čiriki i prirodnog rezervata ostrva Koiba, kojeg je UNESKO uvrstio na listu svetske baštine. Procenjuje se da je pre izgradnje odmarališta poslednje ljudsko naselje tu bilo pre oko 600 godina.

Among the stories in this issue, we would also like to mention the one about Islas Secas (Dry Islands), an archipelago in the Gulf of Chiriquí on the Pacific coast of Panama. This eco-resort is located in its natural surroundings, between the Pacific coast of the Chiriquí Province and the National Park of the Coiba Island, which UNESCO has listed among the World Heritage Sites. It is estimated that before this resort has been constructed, the last human settlement was there about 600 years ago.

estival vinogradara Fête des Vignerons je više od priredbe, to je baština, živa tradicija koja se prenosi s kolena na koleno još od 18. veka. Ovaj izuzetan i izvanredan događaj, koji spaja tradicionalno i moderno, ujedinjuje celu jednu regiju koja se proteže od Lozane do Šable Vodua. Od 1. decembra 2016. uvršten je od strane UNESKA u nematerijalno kulturno nasleđe čovečanstva. Slavi se jednom u generaciji! Tako redak događaj bilo bi lako zaboraviti, ali to se ne dešava! Kada osvane dugo očekivani dan, cela regija se okuplja u iščekivanju. To znači da 12. izdanje festivala, kao i do sada, neće direktno kopirati prethodno, već će predstaviti razdoblje u kojem trenutno živimo. Poput karike u dugom lancu, obeležiće doba grada Veveja kao neki vremenski beležnik. Festival je pre svega posvećen odavanju priznanja vinogradarima, ljudima koji se istinski bave vinovom lozom, što takođe čini ovu manifestaciju originalnom i jedinstvenom.

Bratstvo vinogradara (Confrérie des Vignerons) priprema i organizuje ovaj festival. Istorija Bratstva datira još od najranijih vremena. Njegova dužnost je da obilazi svoje članove i brine se o tome da se vinova loza pravilno uzgaja.

The Confrérie des Vignerons produces and organises the Fête des Vignerons. The history of the Confrérie dates back to the beginning of time. It is responsible for visiting and ensuring the proper maintenance of the vines of its members.

he Fête des Vignerons is more than just a show, it's a heritage, a living tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation since the 18th century. This exceptional and extraordinary event, which combines tradition and modernity, unites an entire region that stretches from Lausanne to Chablais Vaudois. It has been inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO since 1 December 2016. One celebration per generation! It would be easy to forget such a rare event but this is not the case! When the longawaited date arrives, the whole region is mobilised and intrigued. That is to say that this 12th edition, like its predecessors, will not be a direct reproduction of the last but it will represent the era we live in now. Like a link in a long chain, it will mark the Vevey time as a temporal marker. Its particular theme, which is focused on rewarding the winegrowers, the real workers of the vine, also makes it an original and unique show.

ARENA Čuveni i nezaobilazan element festivala Fête des Vignerons čini arena koja je oličenje tehničkog razvoja i dramaturških potreba. Ipak njena najznačajnija odlika je da je kratkog veka. Preko noći, zauzima počasno mesto na Vevejskom trgu i zaklanja panoramski pogled na Ženevsko jezero. Izgrađeno je parkiralište na otvorenom, površine od 17.000 m2, koje postaje srce i duša grada. Prva drvena platforma napravljena je 1797. godine. Imala je nešto manje od 2000 sedećih mesta i bila je u obliku jednostavne spratne konstrukcije i smeštene u gornjem delu trga grada Veveja. Sa svakim novim izdanjem festivala, ona se menjala i prilagođavala dramaturgiji predstave i novim tehnologijama koje su korišćene. Ni konstrukcija iz 2019. godine nije izuzetak. Dvesta godina kasnije, drvo je zamenjeno čelikom, LED reflektorima i novim tehnologijama.

Arena će raditi tokom šest nedelja proba i mesec dana predstava od 18. jula do 11. avgusta 2019. Po završetku manifestacije, ona će se demontirati za manje od tri meseca, i stanovnici Veveja će dobiti svoj trg nazad.

Baština - Heritage

THE ARENA An iconic and essential element of the Fête des Vignerons, the arena is representative of the technical evolutions and dramaturgical needs. But its greatest characteristic is its ephemeral status. Overnight, it takes pride of place on Vevey’s Place du Marché and conceals Lake Geneva’s panoramic views. The huge 17,000 m2 open-air car park is built on and construction become the city's heart and soul. The first wooden platform dates from 1797. It had a little less than 2,000 seats and was in the form of a simple tiered-structure, and placed in the upper part of Vevey’s Place du Marché. At each new edition, it transformed and adapted to the dramaturgy of the show and the new technologies used. The construction of 2019 is no exception. Two hundred years later, wood has disappeared, giving way to steel, LED floodlights and new technologies. The arena will be ready for six weeks of rehearsals and one month of performances from 18 July to 11 August 2019. After the event, the arena is dismantled in less than three months and the Place du Marché will be returned to the Vevey people.

PRIREDBA Priredba prikazuje godinu dana u životu vinograda kroz dvadesetak scena koje počinju i završavaju se žetvom. Ona kombinuje rad u vinogradu, trenutke druženja uz opštije teme kao što su godišnja doba, voda, sunce, mesec, zvezde. Ispituje se veza čoveka i prirode i odaje počast znanju i iskustvu vinogradara. U središtu priredbe je krunisanje vinogradara koje Confrérie des Vignerons nagrađuje za njihov izvanredan rad. Priča se odvija u dirljivom dijalogu između devojčice Žuli i njenog dede koji joj razotkriva tradiciju i posao vinogradara, a tri lika „doktora“ komentarišu nastup s humorom i drskošću.

Krunisanje vinogradara je uvek centralni događaj festivala Fête des Vignerons. Ono pre svega simbolizuje redovne aktivnosti bratstva Confrérie des Vignerons, jer nema prave zabave bez ceremonije krunisanja! Čak i ako se danas ova ceremonija krunisanja potiskuje u drugi plan, ne sme se zaboraviti da je prvi festival 1797. godine bio posebno stvoren kako bi trajno uveo ovu ceremoniju u povorke Bratstva vinogradara. Taj izbor je posljednja faza dugog perioda razvoja koji je započet sredinom 18. veka.

THE SHOW The show represents a year in the life of the vineyard through twenty scenes starting and finishing with the harvest. It combines the work of the vineyard, social moments along with more general themes like seasons, water, the sun, the moon, the stars. It questions the link between man and nature and pays homage to the know-how of winegrowers. At the heart of the show is the Crowning of winegrowers rewarded for their excellence of work by the Confrérie des Vignerons. The narration is carried by a moving dialogue between a little girl called Julie and her grandfather, who enables her to discover the traditions and the work of winegrowers. Three “doctor” characters comment on the performance with humour and impertinence. The Crowning of the winegrowers is at the heart of every Fête des Vignerons. Symbol par excellence of the regular activities of the Confrérie des Vignerons, there would simply be no party without a crowning ceremony! Even if, nowadays, the show often eclipses this crowning ceremony, it must not be forgotten that the first festival of 1797 was specifically created to permanently install this ceremony into the Confrérie des Vignerons’ parades. This choice is the last stage of a long evolution that began in the middle of the 18th century.

Radionica American Revival Cycles koja se bavi izradom ručno pravljenih motocikala predstavila je svoju najnoviju kreaciju 11. aprila 2019. godine. Radi se o jedinstvenom motociklu nazvanom „The Revival Birdcage” zasnovanom na prototipu potpuno nove vrste BMW-ovog bokser motora.

The US American Revival Cycles motorcycle customizers presented their latest creation on 11 April 2019. The unique bike named “The Revival Birdcage” was based on the prototype of a completely new type of BMW boxer engine.

The bike was unveiled at the exclusive Revival Party on eve of the annually held Handbuilt Show in Austin/ Texas. "The ”Revival Birdcage” turned out great and really showcases our Big Boxer perfectly”, says Timo Resch, Vice President Sales and Marketing BMW Motorrad. ”Following the ”Departed” from CUSTOM WORKS ZON, this is the second fascinating custom bike built around the prototype of the BMW Motorrad Big Boxer. We will also be showing a BMW Motorrad developed concept bike featuring this engine in the first half-year of 2019. BMW Motorrad will present a series production motorcycle with the Big Boxer for the Cruiser segment in the course of 2020".

Ovaj motocikl je predstavljen na ekskluzivnoj zabavi uoči godišnjeg sajma ručno izrađenih motora Handbuilt Show koji se održava u Ostinu, državi Teksas. „Revival Birdcage je fantastično ispao i zaista savršeno prikazuje naš Big Boxer motor”, kaže Timo Reš, potpredsednik prodaje i marketinga brenda BMW Motorrad. „Nakon motocikla Departed koji je potekao iz radionice CUSTOM WORKS ZON, ovo je drugi fascinantni „izrađeni po narudžbini” motocikl izrađen sa prototipom Big Boxer motora kompanije BMW Motorrad. Takođe, u prvoj polovini 2019. godine predstavićemo i konceptni motocikl sa ovim motorom koji je razvio BMW Motorrad, a tokom 2020. godine biće predstavljen i serijski motocikl sa Big Boxer motorom u segmentu kruzera.

„Divimo se onome što radi radionica Revival, koja je u posljednjih nekoliko godina izrasla u jedan od najznačajnijih američkih proizvođača „izrađenih po narudžbini“ motocikala na ovom specijalizovanom tržištu", izjavio je Timo Reš na sajmu ručno pravljenih motocikala. „Naravno da želimo i dalje da rastemo. Jedan od koraka koji ćemo preduzeti u tu svrhu, svakako na američkom tržištu, jeste ulazak u segment kruzera. BMW Motorrad dosledno sledi svoju strategiju rasta s jasnim ciljem da postane broj jedan u premijum segmentu velikih motocikala.”

Ram motocikla „Revival Birdcage” izrađen je od titanijuma i delo je radionice Revival Cycles. „Ovo je prvi put da pravimo ram od titanijuma, što je samo po sebi bio veliki izazov”, objašnjava Alen Stalberg, šef radionice Revival Cycles. „Bez obzira na to, ram je na kraju jako dobro ispao i vrlo smo zadovoljni rezultatom jer je postignut cilj da bude gotovo transparentan. Želeli smo da sva pažnja bude usmerena na motor i upravo smo to i postigli sa ovim potpuno jedinstvenim ramom koji smo osmislili. S lakoćom možete videti motor i pogonski sklop iz svih uglova.” Pored toga, gotovo svi ostali delovi na motociklu, poput upravljača, oslonaca za noge, ručice menjača, sedišta i komponenti jedinstvenog ogibljenja od ugljeničnih vlakana, su posebno izrađeni. Tim Alena Stalberga bio je inspirisan mašinama Ernsta Henea s kojima je postavljao rekorde s kraja 1920-ih i početkom 1930-ih godina.

The frame of the “Revival Birdcage” is made of titanium and was developed by Revival Cycles itself. “This was our first time to build a frame with titanium, that alone was already a significant challenge”, says Alan Stulberg, head of Revival Cycles. “Regardless, the frame came together very well in the end and we are very pleased with the result as it accomplished the goal of being nearly transparent. We wanted to focus attention on the engine and that is precisely what we achieved with this completely unique frame we designed. You can easily view the engine and the drivetrain from all angles.” In addition, almost every single other part on the bike such as handlebars, footrests, shift lever, seat and unique carbon suspension components were all individually crafted. Alan Stulberg’s team was inspired by Ernst Hennes’ record-setting machines from the late 1920s and early 1930s.

“We admire the work done by Revival, who have developed into one the most noteworthy US customizers in the custom scene over the last years”, says Timo Resch at the Handbuilt Show. Naturally we want to keep growing. One step we will take to do so, certainly in the US market, is to enter the Cruiser segment. BMW Motorrad is consistently pursuing its growth strategy with the clear aim of becoming the number one in the Premium Big Bike Segment.”

Izrada motocikla je trajala oko šest meseci. „Godinama smo već sanjali o ovom motociklu, i kada smo dobili motor u decembru 2018. godine napokon smo mogli da se bacimo na posao", objašnjava Alen Stalberg. „Oduvek sam voleo bokser motore, a sama veličina i estetska privlačnost ovog prototipa bila je za nas zaista inspirativna." Motocikl je završen na vreme za sajam Handbuilt Show, za nepunih pet meseci. Tamo se već dosta nagađalo o prototipu motora velikog kapaciteta. I spoljna geometrija, kao i vidljivi elementi kao što su šipke podizača koje se kreću hromiranim zaštitnim kanalima podsećaju na bokser motore BMW Motorrad-a iz 1960-ih.

It took around six months to develop the motorcycle. “We had already dreamed about this bike for years and in December 2018 we received the engine and could finally get to work”, says Alan Stulberg. “I have always been a fan of the boxer engine, but the pure physical size and aesthetic appeal of this prototype really inspired us.” The bike was completed in time for the Handbuilt Show in a period of nearly five months. There had already been a lot of speculation about the large-capacity prototype engine on location. Both the exterior geometry as well as the visible elements such as the push rods running in chrome-plated protection ducts are reminiscent of the BMW Motorrad boxer engines that were built in the 1960s.

The Burmester® surround sound system provides remarkable sound and fully shows its potential in the extremely quiet interior of the EQC. The ENERGIZING package is also on-board. The ENERGIZING comfort controller combines various systems in the car, thus creating an optimal environment from the lighting mood to the fragrancing and ionisation of the air to keep the user fresh and vitalised. The ENERGIZING COACH uses data from the vehicle and surroundings to recommend one of the ENERGIZING programmes that fits the situation and the individual. The service package “Vehicle Warranty Extension” protects the vehicle owner against unexpected repair costs beyond the standard Mercedes-Benz new car warranty up to a vehicle age of six years. The extended vehicle warranty is the optimal enhancement to the standard Battery Certificate for the high-voltage battery, which covers a period of eight years or a mileage of 160,000 kilometres. It guarantees a properly functioning high-voltage battery and also covers a significant capacity loss. All three service packages are bound to the vehicle for a period of six years and are transferred to subsequent owners in case the vehicle is sold. Prva jahta 85 GTS je nova kreacija brodogradilišta razvijena u bliskoj saradnji s kupcem, za čiji se enterijer i brojne detalje pobrinula kompanija JDA Architecture iz Pariza. Osim toga, stil i uređenje enterijera nove jahte 65 HT odlikuju elementi dizajna Frančeska Guide. Nova jahta 65 HT je pravi izraz ekstremne personalizacije. Motori omogućuju da jahta postigne maksimalnu brzinu od 60 čvorova, a eksterijer je značajno promenjen na zahtev kupca. Otam is currently building a number of new models that have all already been sold to end customers, which stresses that the Italian shipyard does not produce mass-made items but only totally ”ONE OFF” ones. The first 85 GTS, a new creation of the shipyard developed by working closely with the customer, has interiors and numerous details that have been managed by the Paris-based firm JDA Architecture. Additionally, a new 65 HT yacht has the touch of Francesco Guida Design in its style and in the details of the layout and of the interiors. The new 65 HT is a pure expression of extreme customisation. The engines will allow the yacht to reach a top speed of 60 knots and the significant restyling of the exteriors was requested by the customer. The sixth hull of the Otam 80ht model will have many very new elements and contents, especially in the exteriors and, obviously, in the internal layout and personal touch of the Buyer.

Ove godine je odeća za decu bila prilično zastupljena na Kraljevskoj izložbi konja u Vindzoru, i to od elegantne, neprolazne formalne odeće za decu, do vojskom inspirisane kamuflažne odeće za dečake i devojčice.

Jedini način da se porodice odvuku dalje od štandova sa robom bila je mogućnost da se poseti Food Court, tj. restoranski deo u Vindzoru. Smešten u samom srcu šoping sela, Food Court je bio dobrodošao predah od radnji ponudivši niz gurmanskih izbora. Pored raznovrsnih jela, vegani i vegetarijanci su takođe bili prikladno namireni.

Located within the heart of the Shopping Village, the Food Court provided a welcome pitstop from the shops, offering a range of gourmet options. As well as offering a wide variety of nourishment, vegans and vegetarians were also suitably provided for.

Epic 1000 mile CHALLENGE Chopard returned to the Mille Miglia in 2019 for the 31st time both as historic partner and official timekeeper. This year, from 15th to 18th of May, the Maison’s Co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, a true car aficionado, entered the race at the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz 300SL “Gullwing”. For the first time, he was driving alongside his daughter Caroline Marie, heir to the Scheufele family’s passion for racing.

The American actor and motor enthusiast Scott Eastwood had joined the Chopard team and started in a Porsche 550 Spyder together with French pilot Romain Dumas. Chopard, famous for its connection with historic motoring, also unveiled its latest Mille Miglia Race Edition chronograph and two other new models, the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control and a watch celebrating the centenary of coachbuilder Zagato.

Chopard has been a loyal partner to the celebrated Mille Miglia endurance car rally since 1988, a close collaboration stemming from the Scheufele family's long-standing passion for owning and driving historic automobiles in which they also compete.


Founded in 1927, the Mille Miglia is among the most famous historic motoring events in the world. When it was originally run, the 1,618km course (the equivalent to 1,005 Roman miles) was an all-out race that started and finished in Brescia, with Rome marking the turning point for home.

After ceasing to exist in its original race format in 1957, the Mille Miglia was revived in 1977 as a time and reliability trial for cars built between 1927 and 1957 and still covers 1,000 miles following much of the original route through the heart of Italy from Brescia to Rome and back.

lada fotografkinja, Ružica Milovanović, sama kaže da iza sebe ima dosta godina iskustva, godina uspona i padova, smeha i plakanja. Za nju je fotografija način izražavanja. Ona uživa u igri perspektiva, svetla, i boja koje iznova otkriva kroz objektiv fotoaparata.

Kroz razgovor sa Ružicom saznajemo da su na njenim svakodnevnim fotografijama zastupljene različite teme. Ona fotografiše ljude, prirodu, hranu, životinje, događaje, dok su joj izložbe uglavnom zasnovane na jednoj temi koja pokreće i inspiriše njen život, a to je muzika.

Izložbe zauzimaju posebno mesto u njenom stvaralaštvu i predstavljaju njen način kreativnog izražavanja. Prvu samostalnu izložbu priredila je 2011. godine i od tada se trudi da barem jednom godišnje publici prikaže svoj rad i entuzijazam u štampanoj formi. Kako sama kaže:” Ja sam od onih koji više vole da pišu pisma na papiru, nego da ih Kako je rasla ona, raslo otkucaju na kompjuteru!” Ružica voli svaki trenutak je i njeno iskustvo i polja organizacije izložbe, kako interesovanja. Bavila se njenu kreativnu, tako i onu klupskom, koncertnom i tehničku stranu. Izložba festivalskom fotografijom, predstavlja uobličavanje same priče nakon pronalaženja sarađivala sa stranim i teme. Ona predstavlja prostor domaćim muzičarima, a kroz koji priča raste i dobija tri godine za redom radila formu krajnjeg rezultata.

Ove fotografije, koje čine spoj muzičkog i vizuelnog zanosa, danas stoje kao stalna postavka u Muzičkoj galeriji Kolarčeve zadužbine.

Prepoznatljivi stil Ružice Milovanović pronalazimo u tehnici “kolaž”. Kolaž je fotografija sastavljena iz isečenih fotografija, kompozicijski prilagodjena oku, a tako zanimljiva da se posetilac zadrži ispred nje dovoljno dugo kako bi sagledao delove, a zatim i celinu kompozicije. Inspiraciju za “kolaže” Ružica je dobila 2014. godine kada je prvi put posetila Ciglanu Trudbenik i tamo se upoznala sa skulpturama Viktora Kissa.

SAMOSTALNE IZLOŽBE:

Ubrzo, usled stvaralačkog razumevanja, došlo je do saradnje na njihovom prvom zajedničkom projektu, pod nazivom “PROCES”. Projekat je realizovan kroz izložbu koja prati proces stvaranja skulpture iz perspektive jednog skulptora, videografa i fotografa. Viktor Kiss, Nikola Radojičić i Ružica Milovanović nastavili su sa saradnjom i 2017. godine, kada su imali izložbu u Kolarčevoj zadužbini, na temu “What are you looking for?”.

The distinctive style of Ruzica Milovanovic is visible in the "collage" technique. A collage is a photograph assembled from pieces of other photographs so that its composition is visually harmonized, and quite appealing for the observer to remain in front of it long enough to be able to see its separate parts and then the whole composition itself. Ruzica found the inspiration for the "collages" in 2014 when she first visited the former brick factory Trudbenik and was introduced there to the sculptures of Viktor Kissa.

SOLO EXHIBITIONS:

Soon after, their compatible creative energies lead to their first joint project entitled the "PROCESS". The project included an exhibition following the process of the sculpture making viewed from the perspective of a sculptor, videographer and photographer. Viktor Kiss, Nikola Radojicic and Ruzica Milovanovic continued their cooperation in 2017, when they had an exhibition in the Kolarac Endowment, entitled "What are you looking for?”.
