Za početak želim da vam čestitam na postignućima u ovoj godini! Kreativnost i profesionalizam od kog M2Communications ne odstupa donela je očekivane rezultate. Možemo li da se osvrnemo na najznačajnije projekte koje ste realizovali?

First of all, congratulations on your achievements this year! The unwavering adherence of M2Communications to creativity and professionalism has produced results, as expected. Can you look back at your most significant projects?

Pozitivano je da region polako počinje da prihvata svetske principe i standarde kada je event industrija u pitanju. U skladu sa novim tendencijama, tokom protekle godine, realizovali smo nekoliko veoma zanimljivh projekata. Istakao bih dve velike konferencije realizovane za Vladu Republike Srbije. WB6 DS - Western Balkans Digital Summit održan je u aprilu okupivši oko 4.000 učesnika i preko 200 govornika iz 80 zemalja. Događaj je održan u Palati Srbija, monumentalnom zdanju kome smo dali potpuno novi kontekst. Vodeći računa o samom objektu, transformisali smo prostor u digitalno okruženje prilagođeno potrebama savremene konferencije. Zanimljivo je da nam je jedan od prostora unutar Palate Srbija dat u potpunosti na raspolaganje za naše ideje. Ovo je omogućilo da kreiramo novo digitalno iskustvo kroz imeplementaciju prvog immersive room-a u regionu. WB6 DS je imao značajan doprinos u učvršćivanju ekonomskih odnosa i jačanju saradnje šest ekonomija regiona na polju informacionih tehnologija i kreativnih industrija.

This region is slowly beginning to accept world practices and standards when it comes to the event industry which is a good thing. In line with the new trends, we carried out a number of very interesting projects over the past year. Most prominently, there were two major conferences held for the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The WB6 DS - Western Balkans Digital Summit was held in April, bringing together around 4,000 participants and over 200 speakers from 80 countries. The event was held at the Palace of Serbia, a monumental building to which we attributed a whole new context. While taking care of the building itself, we transformed the space into a digital environment tailored to the requirements of a modern conference. The interesting thing was that one of the spaces within the Palace of Serbia was placed fully at our disposal to put our ideas into effect. This allowed us to create a new digital experience through the implementation of the first immersive room in the region. The WB6 DS has made a significant contribution to deepening economic relations and strengthening the cooperation of the six economies of the region in the field of information technology and creative industries.

Četvrta Kina – CIEZ ministarska konferencija o saradnji u inovacijama, predstavljala je još veći produkcijiski poduhvat. Održana je u oktobru okupivši najrelevantnije predstavnike svih interesnih grupa u inovacionom ekosistemu iz NR Kine i sedamnaest zemalja CEE.

The Fourth China - CEEC Ministerial Conference on Innovation, was an even larger production endeavor. It was held in October, bringing together the most relevant representatives of all stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem from P.R. China and seventeen CEE countries.

Početkom godine, dobili smo Coca-Cola HBC Kick-Off & Annual Party 2019 kao pitch projekat. Idejno rešenje bazirano na filozofiji from storytelling to storyliving, predstavili smo kroz koncept 24/7 Coca-Cola City i organizovali događaj koji je do sada uzeo nekoliko nagrada na domaćim i regionalnim festivalima.

At the beginning of the year, we were awarded the Coca-Cola HBC Kick-Off & Annual Party 2019 as a pitch project. We introduced the main idea based on the philosophy from storytelling to storyliving, through the 24/7 Coca-Cola City concept and organized the event that has won several awards at local and regional festivals so far.

Posebno interesantan događaj se, ovog leta, odigrao u Porto Montenegru. Podvodnom izložbom apstraktnih skulptura crnogorskog umetnika Luke Radojevića, redefinisali smo pojam izložbenog prostora. Posetiocima smo pružili drugačije iskustvo kombinujći umetnički doživljaj i uzbudljivu adrenalinisku avanturu u ambijentu potpune tišne i spokoja.

A particularly interesting event took place in Porto Montenegro this summer. We have redefined the concept of exhibition space with the underwater exhibition of abstract sculptures by Montenegrin artist Luka Radojevic. We provided our visitors with an entirely different experience, combining artistic experience and thrilling adrenaline adventure in an ambient of complete silence and tranquility.

Acknowledgments are the crown of your work. BEA World Festival, Eventiada in Moscow, Special Events in San Diego, as well as the recognition you personally received from Eventex being listed among the 100 most influential people in the world in the event industry. Do you feel obligated by these rewards to continue to push the boundaries?

Nagrade su na neki način refleksija onoga što vrednujemo i za šta se zalažemo. M2C čine ljudi, tim koji vredno radi i teži pomeranju granica, ali sa druge strane, jedna od ključnih vrednosti agencije je “FUN”. Veoma nam je važno da uživamo u onome što radimo i da se podjednanko dobro zabavljamo. Eventex-ovo priznanje i druge međunarodne nagrade doprinose globalnoj prepoznatljivosti. Održavamo kontinuitet uspeha, osvajajući nagradu drugu godinu zaredom na najvećem svetskom festivalu live komunikacija BEA World. Kreativnost, održivost i širi društveni kontekst su ključne karakteristike projekta koji smo ove godine predstavili u Milanu na BEA World festivalu.

In a way rewards reflect what we value and what we stand for. M2C is made up of people, a team that works hard and strives to push the boundaries, but on the other hand, one of the key values of this agency is "FUN". It is very important for us to enjoy what we do and have fun at the same time. Eventex's recognition and other international awards add to our global recognition. We maintain continuous success, by winning for the second year in a row the award at the world's largest live communications festival, the BEA World. Creativity, sustainability and a broader social context are key features of the project we presented at the BEA World Festival in Milan this year.

Verujem da ste, pored uzbudljivih tekućih dešavanja, gde ubrajam i preseljenje sedišta kompanije, u velikim planovima za iduću godinu?

I assume that in addition to exciting on-going events, including the relocating of the company’s headquarters, you have big plans for the next year?

Preseljenje kompanije u Kalemegdan Business Centar je deo nove priče. Prostor predstavlja kombinaciju industrijiskog i savremenog dizajna, a poseban značaj ima u tome što se nalazi u zgradi bivše fabrike Beko, koja je arhitektonski spomenik kulture.

Moving to Kalemegdan Business Center is a new chapter in the life of the company. The space combines industrial and contemporary design, and has a special significance since it is located in the building of the former Beko factory, a part of the cultural heritage.


Event & Live communication

U dizajnu enterijera vodili smo računa o uticaju prirodnog svetla, kombinovanju prirodnih materijala, bojama, detaljima kao i o uvođenju smart sistema. Želimo da kreiramo radno okruženje koje prati najsavremenije svetske trendove i predstavlja mesto inspiracije, susreta i zabave, kako za tim, tako i za naše partnere i klijente. Trenutno poslujemo kroz dve povezane agencije M2C i NEO. Naša vizija je da prerastemo u grupu komplementarnih kompanija u oblasti marketinga, live komunikacija i event produkcije i postanemo vodeća experience design kompanija na ovim prostorima, ravnopravna i na globalnom terenu.

In designing the interior we paid attention to the influence of natural light, and combined natural materials, colors, details and also introduced the smart system. We wanted to create a work environment that follows the latest world trends and is a place of inspiration, meetings and fun, both for our team and for our partners and clients. We are currently operating through two affiliated agencies M2C and NEO. Our vision is to grow into a group of complementary companies in the field of marketing, live communications and event production and become a leading experience design company in these parts, which is also able to compete on a global level.

Can we say that experience design will play a key role in the future of marketing?

Verujemo da će experience design igrati važnu ulogu, ne samo u budućnosti marketinga, već u mnogim drugim industrijama i društvu u celini. Jedan od naših strateških ciljeva usmeren je ka razvojnom centru i Experience Design akademiji čije temelje upravo postavljamo. Akademija ima za cilj da generiše novu bazu znanja iz ove oblasti i pruži direktan uvid u svetske prakse i iskustva svim zaintersovanim stranama na tržištu. Akademija bi se posebno fokusirala na talente koji sebe vide u marketingu, event produkciji i drugim komplementarnim granama. Umeće pretvaranja dobrih ideja i zanimljivih priča u nezaboravne doživljaje postaje profesija budućnosti.

We believe that experience design will play an important role, not only in the future of marketing, but in many other industries and society as a whole. One of our strategic goals is directed towards the development center and the Experience Design Academy whose foundations we are laying at this moment. The Academy aims to generate a new knowledge base in this field and provide direct insight into the world practices and experiences to all stakeholders on the market. The Academy would focus specifically on the talents who see themselves in marketing, event production and other complementary industries. The art of turning good ideas and interesting stories into unforgettable experiences is becoming the profession of the future.

Izveštaj o anketi kompanije Bisnode "Management: Step up" koji je sastavila firma Kairos Future otkriva da 25% direktora strateške odluke donose na osnovu intuicije. Istovremeno je njih 38 % reklo da neće moći da posluje u 2030. godini ako se ne opredele za poslovanje bazirano na podacima. Direktore muči manjak znanja i neodgovarajuće procedure za korišćenje internih i eksternih podataka. Štaviše, polovina osoba na rukovodećim položajima nema osnovno znanje potrebno za poboljšanje upotrebe podataka i njihove analize. Upravljanje kompanijom u svrhu digitalizacije nije nimalo jednostavno. U izveštaju o anketi analitičke bonitetne kuće Bisnode navodi se zaključak da je ulaganje u resurse za analizu podataka nejednako raspoređeno po odeljenjima i poslovnim funkcijama.

A report about the Bisnode's “Management: Step up” survey made by Kairos Future reveals that 25% of managers make strategic decisions based on intuition. At the same time, 38% of them said they would not be able to operate in 2030 unless they opted for a data-driven business. Managers are struggling with a lack of knowledge and inappropriate procedures for using internal and external data. Moreover, half of the people holding managerial positions lack the basic knowledge needed to improve data usage and analysis. Managing a company with the aim of its digitalisation is not an easy task at all. The report about the survey issued by Bisnode, an analytic company specialising in rating creditworthiness, concludes that investing in data analytics resources is unequally distributed across departments and business functions.

Kada je reč o analizi podataka i veštačkoj inteligenciji, neke su industrije uspešnije od drugih po pitanju automatizacije zadataka. Na vodećem su mestu finansijske usluge, savetovanje, IT i tehnologija, u kojima je 25 % ispitanika odgovorilo da se većina zadataka može automatizovati pametnijom upotrebom analize podataka i veštačke inteligencije, dok su sektori kao što su javne usluge, obrazovanje i zdravstvo u zaostatku sa 10% ispitanika koji tvrde da se većina zadataka može automatizovati. Istovremeno 39% ispitanika tvrdi da će do 2030. analiza podataka i veštačka inteligencija potpuno preobraziti njihovu industriju.

When it comes to data analytics and artificial intelligence, some industries are more successful than others in terms of task automation. Financial services, consulting, IT and technology are at the forefront, with 25% of the respondents saying that most tasks can be automated with smarter use of data analysis and artificial intelligence, while sectors such as public services, education and health care are lagging behind with 10 % of the respondents saying that most tasks can be automated. At the same time, 39% of the respondents claim that by 2030 data analytics and artificial intelligence will completely transform their industry.

Ključ za postizanje digitalne razvijenosti jeste inovativna i otvorena kultura koja nije preterano saosećajna. Ipak, iznenađujuća je činjenica da je fluktuacija zaposlenih veoma niska (manje od 10%) u vodećim kompanijama koje su postavile podatke u središte svog poslovanja.

The key to achieving digital advancement is an innovative and open environment that is not overly compassionate. Still, the surprising fact is that employee turnover is very low (less than 10%) in leading companies that put data at the heart of their business.

Međutim, 55% ispitanika izjavilo je da su problemi u vezi s tehnologijom i digitalizacijom neugodniji od kolega i saradnika. Prema odgovorima koji evropskim direktorima prvi padaju na pamet, upravljanje zaposlenima koji imaju negativne stavove prema upotrebi podataka i menjanje njihovog mišljenja takođe predstavlja veliki izazov.

However, 55% of the respondents said that technology and digitalisation issues were more troublesome than colleagues and associates. According to the answers coming first to the minds of European managers, managing employees who have a negative attitude towards using data and changing their minds also presents a major challenge.

Postoje razlike u nivoima znanja između pojedinaca u rukovodećim timovima. Novi Defender ima klirens od 291mm i terensku geometriju svetske klase, što omogućava da ima prednji prilazni ugao od 38 stepeni, prelomni ugao od 28 stepeni i zadnji prilazni ugao od 40 stepeni (visina van puta). Maksimalna dubina gaza je 900 mm i podržana je novim programom Wade u sistemu Terrain Response 2, tako da vozači mogu s punim pouzdanjem prelaziti duboku vodu.

Konstruktorski tim Land Rovera blisko je sarađivao s supervizorom za specijalne efekte i akciona vozila Krisom Korbuldom na specifikaciji Defendersa u filmu. Na bazi modela Defender X u Santorini crnoj boji, sa zatamnjenom zaštitnom pločom, 20-inčnim felnama i profesionalnim terenskim gumama, ovo su prvi Defenderi koji su izrađeni u novom proizvodnom pogonu kompanije Jaguar Land Rover u Njitri u Slovačkoj. No Time To Die is the first movie to feature the New Defender, the latest legendary vehicle to star in a James Bond car chase sequence. The New Defender has been tested by the 007 expert stunt team in the most extreme off-road conditions, demonstrating its unstoppable nature. “Designing and co-ordinating the action sequences for the Bond franchise requires a non-compromising mindset. We needed an unstoppable vehicle to help us battle against the elements, steep descents and river crossings so we chose the new Defender. I'm beyond impressed that the Defender is not only back but much, much better!” said Lee Morrison. The New Defender provides ground clearance of 291mm and world-class off-road geometry, giving the Defender 110 approach, breakover and departure angles of 38, 28 and 40 degrees (Off Road height) respectively. Its maximum wading depth of 900mm is supported by a new Wade programme in the Terrain Response 2 system, so drivers can ford deep water with complete confidence.

Land Rover’s design team worked closely with Special Effects and Action Vehicles Supervisor Chris Corbould on the specification of the Defenders in the film. Based on the Defender X model in Santorini Black, with darkened skid pans, 20in dark finish wheels and professional off-road tyres, they were the first Defenders to be built at Jaguar Land Rover’s new production facility in Nitra, Slovakia. Britain’s biggest vehicle manufacturer has a long-standing partnership with EON Productions on the Bond films, which began in 1983 when a Range Rover Convertible appeared in Octopussy. Alongside the Defenders, No Time To Die also features the Range Rover Sport SVR, Series III Land Rover and Range Rover Classic. No Time To Die, is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007. The film will be released globally in cinemas from April 2 2020 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S. on April 10, from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios via their United Artists Releasing banner.

She handles easily and comfortably. “We found that many of our owners want to operate the Z72 by themselves. It’s the joy of yachting,” added Koopmans. “We made that as easy as possible, by installing systems like the intuitive Volvo Penta IPS, Humphree trim tabs, and easy to use controls of the entire ship.”

There are also six different social areas and guests are able to move around freely. A galley is positioned to serve the dining table and the aft deck with equal ease. Conversation areas are designed to welcome large groups of guests, yet there are enough of them that can afford spaces for more intimate moments as well. The curving stern unfolds to reveal a unique 10.4 square meter beach-club swim deck, connecting her guests with the sea in ways that many larger yachts cannot accommodate. The tender garage is large enough to fit a Williams 345 jet or larger. It fits 4 seabobs and could even be paired with a small personal watercraft.

Dizajneri kompanije Rolls-Royce putuju širom sveta u potrazi za novim, inspirativnim uticajima koji stimulišu svetsku elitu. S tim ciljem se jedan dizajner uputio iz sedišta kompanije Rolls-Royce u švajcarski grad Šo de Fon da se sastane sa vrhunskim časovničarima kako bi razumeo složenost modernih satova i njihove egzotične mehanizme. Model Horology Phantom ispunjen je detaljima koji asociraju na vrhunske satove. Zlatne i srebrne nijanse pojavljuju se naspram dvotonske boje eksterijera koji je u donjem delu siv, a u gornjem crn što nagoveštava holističku temu ovog automobila. Ručno ispisana dvostruka bočna linija zlatne i srebrne boje uključuje složenu šaru inspirisanu satovima, a Duh ekstaze, figurica koja više od jednog veka krasi haube automobila Rolls-Royce, obložena je zlatom od 24 karata. U unutrašnjosti automobila pogled privlači instrument tabla na kojoj je ponosno izložena najveća intarzija od nerđajućeg čelika i zlata ikad napravljena za jedan model Fantoma. HOROLOGY PHANTOM Rolls-Royce designers are compelled to travel the world, seeking new and inspiring influences that stimulate the world’s elite. As such, a designer from the Home of Rolls-Royce travelled to La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland to meet with master horologists to understand the complexities and exotic movements of contemporary timepieces.

Inside, one’s eye is drawn to the fascia, where the largest stainless steel and gold inlay ever made for Phantom is proudly presented. Positioned below a multiple layered stainless steel Gallery, the inlay depicts an abstract schematic of a watch movementThe Rolls-Royce clock, prominently housed in the Gallery, is set in a solid silver, guilloché case.

Moving forward

The Horology Phantom is touched with elements redolent of fine timepieces. Gold and Silver hues set against the Gunmetal lower and Black upper twotone exterior paint hint at the holistic theme of this motor car. A gold and silver coloured hand-painted twinned coachline incorporates an intricate watch inspired design, whilst the Spirit of Ecstasy, the figurine that has graced the bonnets of Rolls-Royce motor cars for over a century, is cloaked in 24-carat gold.

Model Digital Soul Phantom je studija savremene zanatske veštine; spoj ljudskog napora i kompjuterskog dizajna. Dvobojni eksterijer Fantoma sa Karara belom bojom u gornjem delu i bojom dimnog kvarca u donjem delu ukrašena je na boku zlatnim linijama i pozlaćenom figuricom Duh ekstaze, uspostavljajući neposrednu prisutnost. Slični tonovi zastupljeni su i u unutrašnjosti vozila, koža u boji Seashell i Dark Spice naglašena je zlatnim štepovima i monogramima sa amblemom „RR“, ali galerija je nesumnjivo u središtu pažnje. DIGITAL SOUL PHANTOM Digital Soul Phantom is a study in contemporary artisanship; a fusion of human endeavour and computer generated design. The Phantom’s two-tone exterior colourway of Carrara White upper and Smokey Quartz lower is embellished with a gold coachline and gold plated Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, establishing an immediate presence. The interior design echoes this colourway, Seashell and Dark Spice leathers are accentuated with gold stitching and monograms depicting the ‘RR’ emblem, but the Gallery is undoubtedly the nexus.

Data is transcribed using the art of 3D printing, forming the largest piece of 3D printed stainless steel ever featured in a production car. This stainless steel has been plated in nearly 50g of 24-carat gold, creating a unique work for the Gallery that enters the realms of jewellery, sculpture and design.

Moving forward

Created in collaboration with Munich based Product Designer Thorsten Franck, the Gallery portrays an individual’s characteristics in a unique algorithm.

ARABIAN GULF PHANTOM Arabian Gulf Phantom adopts the rich colours and historical narrative of pearl diving in the Middle East. The Turchese exterior hue is evocative of the vibrant local waters, while the Andalusian White upper two-tone recalls the purity of natural pearls, alluding to the story within.

The artwork, a collaboration between Rolls-Royce and British artist Helen Amy Murray, encapsulates the very essence of the motor car. A Mother of Pearl clock punctuates the vibrant Turchese Gallery, providing the perfect counterpoint to it’s sculptural aesthetic. The silk appliqué lines flow through the Gallery as though cradling the precious mineral stones of the clock.

Moving forward

An Arctic White coachline introduces a hand-painted Nautilus shell motif that is artistically embedded into the fabric of the motor car’s interior design. On opening the coach doors, the Gallery prominently portrays a sense of movement, inspired by swelling oceans.

Mallorcan-based BASTIDAS Architecture and Spanish design house WIT are the team behind the property, alongside the Soldevila-Ferrer family who own the hotel and have carefully overseen the project from start to finish. During the restoration of the main 17th century building, the team was mindful of the history and tradition, while the hotel’s two new structures have been sensitively developed in harmony with its original features. The interiors will be reminiscent of a grand summer house, featuring simple, light and airy design.

Additionally, contemporary photography by local Barbara Vidal, will adorn the walls, featuring images of the original buildings before the renovation.

This special colour is the result of a special galvanization procedure performed in the watchmaker’s in -house dial manufactory in Pforzheim, Germany. The process involves placing the dial for a precisely specified length of time in a galvanic bath under a constant electrical charge in order to achieve the desired soft hue. As is the case with all models in the Pano Collection, this new limited edition presents a convincing, unmistakable design. The dial, with its characteristic off-centre displays, is framed by a polished and satinbrushed stainless steel case. The auxiliary dials for hours and minutes and the small seconds dial are aligned along a vertical axis within the left half of the dial, while the Panorama Date is positioned to the right at 4 o’clock.

The heart of the PanoMaticLunar is the Calibre 90-02 automatic movement. The sapphire glass case back offers a clear view of the finely finished mechanism with its traditional elements of Glashütte watchmaking art. Ciklus kineskog kalendara zapravo započinje godinom pacova, a jedna od legendi koje ga okružuju kaže kako je nekada davno Buda sazvao životinje pre ulaska u Nirvanu. Po predanju pacov se popeo na bizona i stigao prvi, potisnuvši mačku na 13. poziciju i uskrativši joj time mesto u kalendaru - što objašnjava legendarno neprijateljstvo između ova dva stvorenja. Godina pacova počinje 25. januara 2020. i završava se 12. februara 2021. godine.

The Chinese calendar cycle actually commences with a year of the rat and one of the legends surrounding it tells the story of when the historical Buddha summoned the animals before entering Nirvana. The rat is said to have climbed on the buffalo and arrived first, relegating the cat to 13th position and thus depriving it of a place in the calendar – which explains the legendary antagonism between these two creatures. The Year of the Rat will begin on January 25th 2020 and end on February 12th 2021.

Brojčanik ovog novog sata posvećenog kineskom zodijaku u potpunosti je izrađen ručno. Veliča azijsku kulturu koristeći tradicionalnu japansku tehniku lakiranja poznatu kao uruši i kombinujući lak sa zlatnom prašinom. Prizor prikazuje zlatnog pacova koji stoji na klipu kukuruza koji simbolizuje obilje, a ispred njega se nalazi kaki jabuka, voćka koje se bere zimi i označava dugovečnost. Okrenut je ka buketu cveća u tri sretne boje ovog horoskopskog znaka: plavoj, zlatnoj i zelenoj. Dakle, kao što se tradicionalno predstavlja u kineskom horoskopu, pacov je strastven, šarmantan, inteligentan i snalažljiv, a takođe i veran prijatelj, velikodušan član porodice i izvor optimizma.

The dial of this new watch dedicated to the Chinese Zodiac is entirely hand-crafted. It gives pride of place to Asian culture by using the traditional Japanese lacquer technique known as Urushi and combining the lacquer with gold dust. The scene depicts a golden rat, standing on an ear of corn, a symbol of abundance, and in front of a khaki, a fruit that is picked in winter and represents longevity. It is facing a bouquet of flowers in the three lucky colours of its zodiac sign: blue, gold and green. Thus, as traditionally represented in the Chinese Zodiac, the rat is passionate, charming, intelligent and resourceful, as well as being a faithful friend, a generous family member and a source of optimism.

AN AGE-OLD JAPANESE PICTORIAL ART The varnish used in this ancestral lacquering art comes from the sap of the Urushi tree, also known as the “lacquer tree” or the “Japanese varnish tree”, which actually grows in both Japan and China. Its resin is harvested once a year in extremely small quantities. Only three to five years afterwards is the resin at last ready to be treated and thus become a highly resistant, honey-textured lacquer that is applied in extremely fine successive layers.

Lak koji se koristi u ovoj drevnoj umetnosti lakiranja potiče od soka drveta uruši, poznatog i kao „drvo laka“ ili „Japansko lakovo drvo“, koje zapravo raste i u Japanu i u Kini. Njegova smola se skuplja jednom godišnje u izuzetno malim količinama. Smola postaje konačno spremna za obradu tek nakon tri do pet godina i tako nastaje visokootporni lak sa teksturom poput meda koji se nanosi u veoma tananim uzastopnim slojevima.

The 88 dials of this limited series were created through cooperation between Chopard and its loyal partner company, Yamada Heinado, where the grand master of Urushi exercises his craft. Zuber je najstarija fabrika tapeta na svetu koja još uvek posluje, i pravo je nacionalno blago. Fabrika je osnovana 1797. godine u opštini Riksaim u regiji Alzas, u Nemačkoj, i u izradi svojih proizvoda još uvek koristi ručnu štampu zahvaljujući izuzetnom umeću i brižljivo očuvanoj baštini. Zuberove arhive sadrže oko 130.000 dezena i 150.000 drvenih šablona – koje su njeni radnici izrezbarili između 1797. i 1830. godine i koji se sada ubrajaju u istorijske spomenike.

Zuberove brojne kolekcije nude mnoštvo zidnih dekoracija i komada izrađenih po narudžbini, kod kojih se može promeniti boja pozadine ili pak čitavog komada, ili se može birati tekstura papira ili tkanine. S obzirom da se sve proizvodi u fabrikama u Riksaimu, za izradu jedne narudžbine po meri potrebno je 4 do 6 nedelja.

Među novom ponudom iz 2018. godine našla se kolekcija Ptice, obojena i nadahnuta dizajnom prirodnog sveta iz 19. veka, kao i kolekcija Karara koja savršeno imitira mermer, ali na „glamurozniji“ način zahvaljujući završnom premazu na papiru od zlatnog praha.

Zuberova specijalnost su panoramske tapete koje su se prvi put pojavile 1804. Ovi prekrasni komadi predstavljaju kompletan pejzaž, a svaki komad prikazuje novu scenu ili motiv. Svaka rolna tapeta se nastavlja na drugu. Danas Zuber proizvodi tridesetak različitih panoramskih kompleta čiji su nazivi očaravajući i sugestivni: Eldorado, Izola Bela, Hindustan, Alhambra, Prizori iz Švajcarske, Prizori iz Brazila, Prizori iz Severne Amerike, Prizori iz Italije, a tu je i najnovija kolekcija, Činozerije. Pruge, ukrasni dezeni, motivi građevina i divljih životinja, murali i same tapete odražavaju umeće i bogatu baštinu fabrike Zuber.

Danas se ovi prizori pojavljuju u vrlo modernim enterijerima, i privatnim i javnim, poput hotela i restorana. Od Pariza do Hong Konga, preko Njujorka, ove zidne dekoracije rasprostranjene su širom sveta.

Zuber je patentirao nekoliko tehnika štampe kojima se dobijaju različiti efekti na teksturi tapeta, uključujući štampu sa presijavanjem (razvijenu 1819.) gde se boje nanose istovremeno sa nekoliko četkica. Stvaranje pruga korišćenjem korita (ovaj postupak postoji od 1843. godine), kao i tehnika flokiranja (datira iz 1852. godine), omogućavaju završnu obradu materijala kojom se ističe prikaz na muralu.

The oldest wallpaper factory still in use in the world, Zuber is a true national treasure. Established in Rixheim, Alsace in 1797, Zuber still prints each creation by hand thanks to an exceptional savoir-faire combined with a carefully preserved heritage. Zuber’s archives contain some 130,000 designs and 150,000 woodblocks – carved by its workers between 1797 and 1830, the latter now listed Monuments Historiques.

Zuber has an infinitely rich repertoire: earthly paradises, magnificent horizons, fantastical bestiaries, luxurious flora, breathtaking landscapes, architectural treasures, allowing Zuber’s creations to adapt to all decorative styles, from interiors full of history to the purest of designs. Zuber exports their products internationally to meet all demands for both style and technical prowess, such as the ceiling of a yacht. Each wallpaper is therefore unique.

Zuber’s numerous collections offer a variety of wall decorations and custom-made pieces, such as the option to change the colour of the background or the entire piece, as well as the choice of texture of either paper or fabric. Given that everything is made in the factories in Rixheim, it takes 4 to 6 weeks to manufacture a custom order.

Among the 2018 additions are The Birds collection, coloured and inspired by 19th century designs of the natural world. And the Carrare collection which imitates marble to perfection but in a more “glamourous” way thanks to the powdered gold finish of the paper.

Zuber’s speciality, the first scenic wallpapers appeared in 1804. These beautiful pieces represent a complete landscape, with each piece offering a new scene or motif. Each wallpaper roll connects to another. Today, Zuber manufactures around thirty different panoramic sets, all bearing enchanted and evocative names: Eldorado, Isola Bella, Hindoustan, Alhambra, Vues de Suisse, Vues du Brésil, Vues d’Amérique du Nord, Vues d’Italie, not to mention the latest collection, Chinoiseries. Stripes, decorative patterns, architecture and wildlife, murals, the wallpapers themselves reflect the savoir-faire and the rich heritage of Zuber.

Nowadays these sceneries appear in very modern interiors, whether private or public, such as hotels and restaurants. From Paris to Hong Kong, via New York, these wall decorations travel the world.

Zuber holds several printing patents allowing different effects on the texture of the wallpaper, including iridescent printing (developed in 1819) which involves applying each colour simultaneously using several brushes., the creation of stripes through the use of a trough (this process has existed since 1843, as well as the technique of velveting or flocking (dating back to 1852), which allows you to create a material finish and to accentuate the depiction of the mural.
