Offered in screened and unscreened, the Cat 6 weatherproof cables replace the standard jacket with a tough, UV resistant PE sheath. For installations outdoors and in ducts, an additional heavy PE jacket is applied to the original Cat 6 cable and for even more demanding applications, SWA (steel wire armoured) versions are offered.

Cat 6A offers even higher performance with data rates up to 10Gb/s for fast transfer of large files. The F/FTP version features a 100% foil tape around each pair to reduce crosstalk from external influences as well as an overall foil screen to reduce radiated electromagnetic forces.
