OFC Multicore Round Black Duct Grade Speaker Cable
100m, 200m, 500m, CTL
This range of external grade speaker cables is suitable to be either run through ducts or clipped to buildings or other exposed areas when an armoured cables not required. The cables are rated to 0.6/1kV and have XLPE insulation, a water blocking gel tape, PVC bedding and a UV stable black polyethylene sheath which also gives additional mechanical strength and water resistance. The colour code is conventional for simple wiring and despite their toughness they remain remarkably flexible. The gel tape remains dry until exposed to water when it swells to form a water barrier. This prevents any mess during termination normally associated with petroleum gel filled cables. The cable is stocked on bulk drums and can be cut to length to reduce your wastage and save time. If these cables require added protection we can also armour them with MOQs as low as a hundred metres
CONSTRUCTION
Plain copper wire conductors to IEC/BS EN 60228 class 5, XLPE colour coded insulation, water blocking tape, bedding compound of PVC, UV resistant polyethylene sheath.

OFC 16awg Weatherproof Speaker cable

These 16AWG speaker cable features a water blocking tape that helps in preventing water from travelling down the cable and damaging equipment. The water blocking tape reacts quickly when in contact with water, swelling and creating an absorbent gel. This cable also has a UV resistant PE outer sheath, making it ideal for external applications where the cable may need to be run outdoors. The quick strip makes for an easy installation.
