CANVAS WINE packaging, branding Inspired by the love of fine arts, Canvas Wines are handcrafted, with an artisan approach, that achieve its depth and richness with age. Developed exclusively for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, the bottles present a sophistication that many of the Hyatt costumers respond to. The original acrylic painting represents the burst of flavor of each wine.

ARCHITECTURE EXHIBITION layout, print, web The web material is a redesign of the Architecture and Design Museum’s website in Los Angeles, California. The print materials promote a series of exhibitions higlighting influential contemporary architects. Posters were created which reflect their style of work using bold typography, colors and graphics that resonate vibrations.

JASON REEVES branding, illustration Jason Reeves is an American singer songwriter and musician who grew up in Iowa city, Iowa. This promotional project was created to market his work with the use illustrations and a handmade logotype that emulates Jason Reeve’s raw and rustic quality style of singing.

3D TYPOGRAPHY print, concept design 3D Typography is a conceptual book of an artful collection of imaginative creative thinking about typography and design. Using rolled up phonebook pages as the unconventional material to create the three-dimensional letterforms, an interesting texture was created. Photographed digitally, the design was used for the book cover.

ART DIRECTORS CLUB publication design This annual report for the Art Directors Club was designed to inform all the members of the club about the yearly events and progress of the company. The existing color scheme of the company was used to continue brand recognition. A visually appealing layout and infographics were used throughout the publication.

AWKWARD game design, branding Awkward is a conceptual board game with the collaboration of my fellow students, Terry Gatechair and D’Angel Barnhart. The goal of the game is to reach the top of the uniquely shaped game board. Creating hand-drawn characters and vibrant colors appeal to teens and young adults

CRISP: ORGANIC PRODUCE responsive website CRISP: Organic Produce is a conceptual organization of collective organic farmers of the Bay Area. Website that could be viewed in different devices such as computer screens, tablets, and mobile devices was created to promote the company. The use of vibrant color scheme matches the organizations’s advocate of promoting organic food and living a healthy life.

NEFF print, layout, illustration NEFF is an active youth accessory brand with its headquarters located in Camarillo, California. The use of geometric patterns and vibrant colors complement the 2013 Spring/ Summer Cap Collection NEFF has to offer.

MEXICO CITY 2020 branding, illustration Mexico City 2020 is a conceptual project proposal for the Summer Olympics. The emblem represents the headdress of the Aztecs, the Aztec’s Mexican sun stone, and the sun. The color schemes represents the tapestry of Mexico and the geometric patterns prevalent in Mexican art and architecture. The medals were based on Aztec’s warrior hierarchy, and pictograms depicts an Aztec warrior wearing a headress.

TYPO: DESIGN TALK print, web, layout TYPO: International Design Conference is an annual event that is held in Berlin, London, and San Francisco. This promotional project was developed to market the event Typo: Rhythm in San Francisco. The use of patterns to achieve the theme of the event and the use of sophisticated color scheme would appeal to the design industry for both students and professionals.

UNFOLDING TYPOGRAPHY typography, layout Unfolding Typography is a conceptual digital book that discusses typographic and design principles intended for design students and professionals. The imagery used represents the analogy of creating origami crane to the principles. The use of cool grays and accents of green created the contrast needed for the white text.

MUSÉE MÉCANIQUE typography, illustration This promotional project was developed to help promote Musée Mécanique, one of the world’s largest collection of coin–operated mechanical musical instruments and antique arcade machines. The print materials features handmade typography and illustrations. The imagery and vibrant colors give a fresh look to help promote the museum to the locals and the tourists of San Francisco.

CHOCOLATE LITTLE CHOCOLATE MONSTERS packaging, branding Little Chocolate Monsters brand identity was created to be enjoyed by kids and adults who are kids at heart. Quirky characters and a handmade logotype brings excitement for the children to enjoy. After the chocolates have been eaten, kids could cutout the monsters and play with them for an out of the world experience!
